When October 7th happened, the "Free Palestine" crowd on social media was quick to push back, claiming these complete acts of evil were somehow justified. My kids had real questions about what was actually happening, so instead of explaining it to them like in one of my chalkboards, I decided to take them to ground zero to see the devastation for themselves. Because when you stand where families were slaughtered by neighbors they once invited to their weddings, or walk through a field where hundreds of young kids were hunted down at a music festival, the online propaganda completely vanishes. You realize the truth of that tragic day cannot be ignored.
