Transcript [00:00] 9/11 [00:01] I still remember [00:03] being a young boy, sixth grade, and [00:05] watching the horror of that day unfold. [00:08] And right now, I'm standing on the 9/11 [00:11] Living Memorial Plaza in Jerusalem, [00:13] Israel. You know, this place is unique. [00:16] Of the 1,000 memorials worldwide, [00:20] this one, outside of the United States, [00:23] is the only one that bears every [00:24] victim's name. [00:26] Here, we're able to see [00:28] this remains, part of the Twin Towers, [00:31] and you can see the memorial of the [00:33] American flag in the shape of a flame. [00:35] You may not know this, but five Israelis [00:38] lost their lives that day, and one of [00:40] them, his name is Daniel Lewin. [00:42] He tried to fight back. [00:44] Investigators tell us that he was the [00:46] first passenger to be a victim [00:48] because he had the courage to fight [00:50] back, to intervene. [00:51] You know, I'm here in Israel, and I [00:53] can't help but think that the threat of [00:57] radical Islamist extremism [01:00] hasn't gone away. It's been 25 years, [01:03] and we're still seeing this threat. At [01:05] the same time, I'm aware that when these [01:07] radicals start chanting that America is [01:10] the is the big Satan, and Israel is the [01:13] little Satan, [01:15] I remember the words of scripture, and I [01:17] want you to remember them, too. The [01:18] weapons of our warfare are not are not [01:20] carnal. [01:21] This fight in the natural, there's a [01:24] bigger fight. You have to lift up your [01:26] eyes and remember that in the spiritual [01:28] realm, there's a fight, light and [01:30] darkness. But, the good news is that the [01:32] weapons of our warfare, they have divine [01:34] power to demolish strongholds. What are [01:37] you doing to pray for America? How are [01:40] you standing for the next generation? [01:41] How are you fighting for the values and [01:43] the freedoms that have made our country [01:46] great, that envision our country to be [01:48] that city on a hill? That's what we hold [01:50] in common, Israel and America, both [01:53] founded with a moral fabric that is [01:56] based in the scriptures, in the word of [01:58] God. So, I want to encourage you today. [02:01] Remember the lives lost. [02:02] Honor the heroes, and pray. It's time to [02:05] pray like never before. God bless you [02:07] from Jerusalem.
