Transcript [00:00] Trump threatens to strike Iran as early [00:02] as tomorrow. [00:04] Israel is preparing for decapitation [00:06] strikes against Iran. [00:08] Zero red lines. Iran's Revolutionary [00:11] Guards are threatening attacks around [00:14] the world. And Tehran is preparing to [00:17] launch a surprise attack. [00:19] American intelligence has uncovered [00:22] Iranian assassination plot. [00:25] A newly circulated memo warns that [00:27] Tehran has intensified its efforts to [00:30] kill Americans in the Middle East and [00:32] other countries. [00:34] Iranian officials confirm that Tehran is [00:36] preparing to assassinate senior American [00:39] officials around the world. And the [00:42] United States is preparing for another [00:44] attack on Iran. [00:47] The strike plans have already been drawn [00:48] up and the final decision rests [music] [00:51] with President Donald Trump. [00:54] A secret shipment from Iran has been [00:56] destroyed [music] [00:57] and officials in Iraq are pointing the [01:00] finger at Israel. [01:02] Did the Israeli Air Force carry out a [01:04] covert operation deep inside Iraq? [01:08] And another signal to Iran, the United [01:10] States is revealing its massive military [01:12] preparations [01:14] to strike underground bunkers and [01:16] nuclear targets. [01:18] And is Europe [music] [01:19] facing a historic identity crisis? [01:22] France is burning again. Hundreds of [01:24] thousands in the streets, nearly a [01:26] thousand arrests. And Macron is losing [01:28] control of the crisis. [01:31] Trump warns that Paris is on its way [01:33] [music] to becoming a Muslim city. [01:36] Macron responds furiously, calling those [01:38] claims false and ridiculous. [01:41] I'm Mati Shoshani [01:43] joined by Ashley Alex. [01:45] And here at Boots on the Ground, we [01:47] bring you the full truth about what's [01:49] happening in Israel and what's happening [01:52] in our in our neighborhood, the Middle [01:54] East. [01:55] Today's October the 25th. [01:57] Let's get started. And if you love TBN [01:59] Israel and want to be part of what God [02:02] is doing through our mission, there's a [02:04] simple way to stand with us. We'll tell [02:07] you more later in today's report, but in [02:09] the meanwhile, visit our official store [02:12] at shop.tbnisrael.com. [02:15] Now, back to the news. [02:17] American aircraft carriers are being [02:19] armed with bunker-busting bombs, [02:21] embassies are being evacuating and [02:24] evacuating personnel, and officials in [02:26] Tehran are openly discussing retaliatory [02:29] attacks against senior American [02:31] officials. [02:32] These are no longer threats exchanged [02:34] from a distance. Both sides are already [02:37] changing their military posture on the [02:39] ground. [02:40] And Washington fears that a single [02:43] incident could trigger another round of [02:45] war. [02:46] An unusual memo delivered Friday to [02:49] Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director [02:52] of National Intelligence Jay Clayton [02:55] warned that Iranian plans to target [02:57] American civilians and government [02:59] representatives had reached advanced [03:01] stages. [03:02] According to The New York Times, two [03:04] senior Iranian officials, including a [03:07] member of the Revolutionary Guards, [03:10] confirmed that American diplomats and [03:12] personnel are now on the target list. [03:15] They described the plans as retaliation [03:17] for the killing of senior Iranian [03:19] officials. [03:21] American intelligence is examining [03:23] threats in the Middle East, Europe, and [03:25] even inside the United States. And [03:27] however, it remains unclear how capable [03:30] these cells are of carrying out these [03:32] plans. [03:33] Washington is not limiting its response [03:35] to warnings. Family members and [03:38] non-essential staff have been ordered to [03:40] leave American diplomatic missions in [03:42] Saudi Arabia. [03:43] The diplomatic presence has also been [03:46] reduced in Qatar, Jordan, the United [03:48] States and United Arab Emirates, excuse [03:51] me, and Lebanon. [03:53] And meanwhile, reports indicate that [03:55] troops are being withdrawn from bases in [03:57] Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan over fears of [04:00] missiles and drone attacks. [04:03] The relocation of 12 American bombers [04:05] from a base in Britain, following [04:07] concerns about a possible Iranian [04:09] strike, further demonstrates that the [04:12] heightened alert extends far beyond the [04:15] Persian Gulf. [04:16] At sea, however, the picture is quite [04:18] different. [04:20] The United States is concentrating its [04:21] firepower. The aircraft carrier USS [04:24] George Washington [04:26] and USS George H.W. Bush are operating [04:30] in the region. [04:31] While USS Theodore Roosevelt is on its [04:34] way. [04:35] Once the deployment is complete, dozens [04:38] of American vessels could be operating [04:40] in the arena [04:42] along with marine forces. [04:44] Aboard the George Washington in the [04:46] Arabian Sea, aircraft have been have [04:48] been seen [04:50] being rearmed missiles and [04:52] bunker-busting bombs. [04:54] US Central Command has already developed [04:57] several options for additional strikes, [05:00] potentially targeting Iran's nuclear [05:02] facilities, missile systems, and [05:05] strategic infrastructure. [05:07] Trump has not yet been given final [05:09] approval. [05:10] There have also been reports of [05:12] explosions at weapons depots belonging [05:14] to Iran-aligned militias in Iraq. [05:18] Local officials suspect Israeli [05:20] involvement, but those claims are not [05:22] verified. [05:24] For its part, Tehran is threatening [05:26] asymmetric warfare, including possible [05:29] attacks on energy infrastructure and [05:31] communication cables. [05:33] Now, at the same time, [05:35] messages conveyed through Pakistan [05:37] suggest a possible arrangement to reopen [05:40] the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for [05:42] lifting the American blockade. [05:44] However, officials inside Iran have also [05:48] issued denials. For now, everyone is [05:50] waiting for Trump's decision. [05:52] He continues to signal that both a [05:54] military strike and a negotiated deal [05:57] remain possible. [05:59] Following the November 3rd midterm [06:00] elections, pressure to make a decision [06:03] could intensify [06:05] and the cost of a single miscalculation [06:07] could be another regional war. [06:10] And from the confrontation between [06:11] Washington and Tehran, [06:14] we turn to the places where the fear of [06:16] war has already become live fire. [06:20] In Saudi Arabia, the weekend brought a [06:23] new wave of launches from Yemen. The [06:25] kingdom now finds itself defending its [06:27] cities, its airports, and the energy [06:30] arteries that sustain a significant part [06:33] of the global economy, [06:35] all at the same time. [06:37] On Saturday, the Iranian-backed Houthis [06:40] claimed to have carried out seven [06:41] military operations using ballistic [06:44] missiles and drones. [06:46] Their list of targets included Riyadh [06:48] International Airport, the airports in [06:51] Dammam and Najran, the airbase in Khamis [06:54] Mushait, [06:55] an Aramco facility in Yanbu, the [06:57] refinery in Rabigh, [07:00] and the strategic oil pipeline running [07:02] from eastern to western Saudi Arabia. [07:05] The Riyadh-led coalition confirmed that [07:08] it had intercepted two ballistic [07:10] missiles and reported that debris had [07:12] fallen near one of the oil facilities. [07:15] Authorities issued alerts in the Taif, [07:17] Yanbu, Mecca, and Jeddah areas before [07:20] announcing minutes later that the [07:22] immediate danger had passed. [07:24] It's important to emphasize that the [07:26] Houthis'claim of responsibility does not [07:29] prove that every listed target was [07:30] actually hit. [07:32] And meanwhile, fighting also erupted [07:34] inside Yemen. Yemen's internationally [07:36] recognized government reported that [07:38] three ballistic missiles had been [07:40] launched towards Coast Guard facilities [07:42] in the port city of Aden, striking [07:45] military buildings. The Houthis claimed [07:47] they had targeted bases where [07:48] Saudi-backed forces were gathering. [07:51] Houthi-controlled media also reported [07:54] casualties from airstrikes attributed to [07:56] Saudi Arabia in Sana'a and Hodeidah, [07:59] although those claims have not been [08:01] independently verified. [08:02] And this goes far beyond an exchange of [08:04] fire. [08:05] Yanbu and the East-West oil pipeline [08:08] allow Saudi Arabia to transport oil to [08:11] the Red Sea without passing through the [08:13] Strait of Hormuz. [08:14] Damage to these facilities could deepen [08:17] the energy crisis. [08:19] Britain has announced defensive and [08:21] interception missions involving Typhoon [08:24] fighter jets over Saudi Arabia, while [08:26] Egypt has pledged assistance with air [08:28] defense systems subject to the required [08:32] procedures. [08:33] The British fighter jets are not being [08:35] deployed to attack targets in Yemen. And [08:37] for now, their mission is to intercept [08:40] missions heading towards Saudi cities. [08:43] Riyadh is trying to prevent a wider war, [08:45] but the Houthis continue to raise the [08:47] cost. [08:48] And on Israel's northern front, [08:50] Hezbollah is delivering a surprising [08:52] message this weekend. [08:54] This time, it claims it will not join a [08:57] war on Iran's behalf. [08:59] The Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat [09:02] reported that Hezbollah made this [09:04] commitment to Lebanese Parliament [09:06] Speaker Nabih Berri. [09:08] I Excuse me, I think it's Nabih Berri. [09:11] Who then informed President Michel Aoun, [09:13] according to Lebanese sources, Iran's [09:16] Deputy Foreign Minister also said in [09:18] Beirut that Tehran had no intention of [09:21] asking Hezbollah to open another front [09:24] against Israel. [09:25] The Iranian embassy in Lebanon, however, [09:27] denied details attributed to the [09:29] meetings. [09:30] But in Beirut, people remember exactly [09:32] what happened in March. Back then, [09:34] Hezbollah also promised to stay out of [09:36] the confrontation [09:38] and then launched six rockets towards [09:40] Israel. [09:41] Since then, the organization's internal [09:43] situation has become even more [09:45] complicated. Tens of thousands of [09:48] families are still dealing with the [09:49] damage caused by the war. [09:51] Lebanese leaders fear another wave of [09:54] displacement [09:55] and members of the Shiite community are [09:58] beginning to ask questions themselves. [10:00] A survey conducted in September among [10:03] 800 Shiite respondents [10:05] found that 66%supported transferring [10:08] Hezbollah's weapons to the Lebanese [10:11] state, although many still express [10:13] confidence in the organization. This [10:15] does not mean Hezbollah has lost its [10:17] power, but it certainly points to the [10:19] political and social cost of another [10:22] war. [10:23] The organization now finds itself caught [10:25] between its loyalty to Tehran and a [10:27] genuine fear of an Israeli response that [10:30] could reach its strongholds in Beirut. [10:33] And from the north, we turn to Gaza. [10:35] Hamas has delivered an unusually [10:37] explicit threat to Israel. According to [10:39] reports from the weekend, senior Hamas [10:41] officials told the United Nations envoy [10:44] in Gaza that they were preparing to [10:46] carry out another attack resembling [10:48] October 7th, including operations inside [10:51] Israel, in Judea and Samaria, or even [10:53] abroad. [10:55] The message was passed to Israel's [10:57] coordinator of government activities in [10:59] the territories [11:00] and from there to the Prime Minister and [11:02] Defense Minister in an urgent warning [11:04] letter. [11:05] The threat came amidst the IDF's advance [11:08] along the yellow line, disagreements [11:10] over control of territory, and the [11:12] deadlock surrounding Hamas's [11:14] disarmament. [11:15] Does Hamas currently have the capability [11:18] to carry out an attack on that scale? [11:20] That is precisely the question Israeli [11:22] security officials are examining. [11:25] But Israel is not treating this warning [11:27] as empty rhetoric. Over the weekend, as [11:30] the military also prepared to provide [11:32] security for elections in Israel, [11:34] security forces operated at [11:36] approximately 400 locations across Judea [11:39] and Samaria. They arrested around 40 [11:42] suspects and focused, among other [11:44] targets, on infrastructure associated [11:46] with Hamas. [11:48] The message and meaning is clear. Even [11:50] when a larger war appears distant, [11:53] efforts to prevent the next attack are [11:55] already continuing. [11:57] And now to Europe and the images shaking [11:59] France. [12:01] The radical left and extremist political [12:03] Islam do not necessarily envision the [12:06] same kind of society. One speaks of [12:08] liberation and equality. The other, in [12:11] its most extreme forms, seeks to impose [12:14] a religious order. [12:15] But at times, they find a common enemy, [12:18] the existing Western order. This brings [12:21] us to an old and troubling expression, [12:23] useful idiots. People who believe they [12:25] are fighting for justice, but who may in [12:28] practice provide extremist movements [12:30] with an audience, legitimacy, and public [12:33] cover. [12:34] In Iran in 1979, leftist and Islamist [12:38] united against the Shah, but they didn't [12:40] want the same future. [12:42] Critics describe today's concern using [12:44] the term Islamization. [12:46] That is a political claim worth [12:48] examining, not exact proof that the [12:50] demonstrator is cooperating with the [12:52] Islamists. [12:53] But on Saturday, approximately 410,000 [12:57] demonstrators took to the streets across [13:00] France, according to the Interior [13:01] Ministry. [13:02] Labor unions place the figure at nearly [13:05] 800,000. Around 70,000 police officers [13:09] were deployed nationwide and close to [13:11] 1,000 people were arrested. In Paris, [13:14] 110,000 people marched through the [13:17] streets. As police moved to disperse the [13:20] demonstration, serious clashes broke out [13:23] with tear gas and water cannons used [13:25] against protesters. [13:27] Confrontations also erupted in [13:29] Marseille, in Lyon, and other cities. [13:32] Businesses barricaded their their [13:33] storefronts behind wooden boards, while [13:36] police tried to prevent a repeat of the [13:38] looting seen the previous week. [13:41] The protests themselves began with [13:43] demands for improve-improvements in [13:45] education, public services, and the cost [13:48] of living. [13:49] No evidence has been presented showing [13:51] that the majority of demonstrators are [13:53] Islamist activists, but [13:55] the political question remains [13:56] explosive. Can extremist movements [13:59] exploit genuine public anger and attach [14:02] their own struggle against the West and [14:04] Israel to it? [14:06] And do people who march in the name of [14:07] human rights recognize when slogans [14:09] against Israel cross the line into [14:12] justified violence? [14:13] President Emmanuel Macron strongly [14:16] rejected claims that France had been [14:18] taken over by immigrants and Islamists. [14:21] He also warned about fake images and [14:23] online manipulation. [14:25] That distinction matters. There's no [14:26] evidence that the entire protest [14:28] movements represents an intifada, but [14:31] neither can we ignore the radicalization [14:33] that damaged the businesses and the [14:35] fears of Jewish communities. [14:37] And the unrest is not limited to France. [14:40] Italy and Spain have also experienced [14:43] protest and clashes for different [14:45] reasons, demonstrating just how widely [14:47] social anger has spread across Europe. [14:50] The real test for France is not the [14:53] origin of religion or the demonstrator. [14:55] It's whether the country can defend the [14:58] rule of law, protect its Jewish [15:00] communities, and preserve civil [15:01] liberties without allowing a violent [15:04] minority to take control of the streets. [15:06] And today, looking at the images coming [15:09] out of Paris, that question is no longer [15:11] theoretical. [15:12] Once again, I'm Mati Shoshani. I'm [15:15] joined by Ashley Alex. [16:34] Go to shop.tbnisrael.com. [16:36] That's shop.tbnisrael.com, and be part [16:40] of the mission. [16:42] Now, let's continue. [16:44] An explosion at a militia ammunition [16:45] depot in eastern Baghdad injured five [16:48] people, and now Iraqi authorities are [16:51] investigating whether two weapon storage [16:53] facilities were deliberately attacked [16:56] shortly after receiving Chinese-made air [16:58] defense systems from Iran. [17:01] Officials in Baghdad suspect Israeli [17:02] involvement, although nobody has [17:04] officially established who carried out [17:06] the suspected strikes. [17:08] And this raises an important question. [17:10] Has the next phase of the confrontation [17:13] with Iran already begun outside of [17:16] Iran's borders? [17:17] Now, Ashley, the investigation in Iraq [17:20] is revealing something much bigger about [17:23] the military preparations across the [17:25] region. Now, over to you, Ashley Alex. [17:29] >> Matty, the details emerging from Baghdad [17:32] are particularly interesting because of [17:35] the weapons believed to have been stored [17:37] inside those facilities. [17:39] On October 17th, Iraq's Popular [17:41] Mobilization Forces reported an [17:44] explosion at an ammunition depot in the [17:46] East Canal area of Baghdad. [17:49] They described the incident as a fire [17:51] involving damaged ammunition. [17:53] But, Iraqi officials are now [17:54] investigating a different possibility. [17:57] According to accounts from people [17:59] familiar with the investigation, two [18:01] militia storage facilities may have been [18:04] attacked shortly after a shipment of [18:06] Chinese-made portable air defense [18:08] systems arrived from Iran. [18:11] These are shoulder-fired heat-seeking [18:14] weapons designed to engage aircraft [18:17] operating at relatively low altitudes, [18:19] including helicopters and certain [18:21] unmanned aircraft. [18:23] For Iranian-backed militias, weapons [18:26] like these could provide an additional [18:28] layer of protection against future air [18:30] operations. [18:32] Investigators believe a substantial [18:34] shipment may have been destroyed. [18:37] However, neither the precise weapons [18:39] involved nor the identity of the [18:40] attacker has been independently [18:42] established. The suspected attacks also [18:45] fit into a broader sequence of [18:48] unexplained explosions that began around [18:51] Baghdad on October 1st. [18:54] Some reportedly involved facilities [18:56] storing reconnaissance drones and [18:58] explosive unmanned aircraft. [19:01] Militia representatives say they have [19:02] recorded 171 alleged violations of Iraqi [19:07] airspace since the beginning of October. [19:10] Iraqi security officials are examining [19:13] whether someone is deliberately [19:14] disrupting Iranian weapons transfers [19:17] before another regional war. [19:20] That is a serious possibility, but it [19:22] remains an assessment rather than proof [19:24] of a new Israeli-American military [19:26] campaign. [19:28] Now, consider the timing. [19:30] US Central Command has reportedly [19:32] completed several operational options [19:34] for renewed strikes against Iran. [19:37] Those options have been presented to [19:39] Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. [19:42] The decision to execute them rests with [19:44] President Donald Trump. [19:46] The Pentagon has not confirmed the [19:47] operational details, and American [19:49] officials emphasize that preparing [19:51] attack plans does not mean an attack has [19:54] been ordered. [19:56] Nevertheless, Trump has dramatically [19:58] increased the pressure. [20:00] Asked how close he was to another [20:01] strike, the president responded that the [20:03] United States was considering military [20:05] action possibly as early as October [20:09] 25th. [20:10] He also challenged the reporter who [20:12] expected him to reveal his intentions. [20:15] Trump is keeping two possibilities [20:17] alive. Another military campaign or an [20:20] agreement that permanently prevents Iran [20:23] from developing nuclear weapons. [20:25] His concern is that destroying [20:27] facilities today would accomplish little [20:30] if Tehran could rebuild its nuclear [20:32] capabilities in another year or two. [20:35] That is why the next possible operation [20:37] could look different from previous [20:39] rounds. [20:40] Military planners have [20:43] nuclear facilities, ballistic missile [20:45] infrastructure, drone production sites, [20:48] and strategic installations. [20:50] Among the potential targets discussed [20:53] publicly is a deeply buried mountain [20:55] complex near Natanz, often called [20:58] Pickaxe Mountain. [21:00] Its underground construction presents a [21:02] serious challenge even for advanced [21:05] bunker penetrating weapons. [21:07] Public estimates of its depth remain [21:09] uncertain. [21:11] Washington also has considerable [21:13] military assets available. [21:16] Reports describe more than 50,000 [21:18] American personnel in the region, [21:20] approximately 20 warships, and two [21:23] carrier strike groups with the USS [21:25] Theodore Roosevelt heading toward the [21:27] theater. [21:29] Additional amphibious ships carry [21:31] approximately 4,000 Marines and sailors [21:34] providing options beyond conventional [21:36] air strikes. [21:37] A broader campaign would require [21:39] decisions about targets, escalation, and [21:42] the risk of Iranian retaliation. [21:45] And that risk is already affecting [21:47] American diplomats. [21:48] An urgent intelligence memorandum sent [21:51] to Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned [21:53] that Iranian efforts to target US [21:55] personnel have intensified [21:57] substantially. [21:59] Director of National Intelligence Jay [22:01] Clayton described lethal plotting [22:03] against Americans as having reached [22:05] advanced stages in the Middle East and [22:08] certain other countries. [22:10] Two Iranian officials, including a [22:12] person connected to the Revolutionary [22:13] Guard, reportedly acknowledge [22:15] preparations targeting American [22:17] government personnel. [22:19] Iranian officials have portrayed such [22:21] plans as retaliation for the killing of [22:23] senior commanders. [22:25] But the intelligence warning does not [22:27] establish that every proposed operation [22:30] is ready to be executed. [22:32] Washington has nonetheless taken [22:34] protective measures. [22:36] Non-essential American diplomatic [22:38] employees and family members have been [22:40] ordered to leave Saudi Arabia. [22:42] Embassies in Jordan, Lebanon, Qatar, and [22:45] the United Arab Emirates have reduced [22:47] staffing under restricted operating [22:49] arrangements. [22:51] Those embassies remain open and the [22:53] restrictions are not identical to the [22:55] mandatory departures in Saudi Arabia. [22:58] American officials also say these [23:00] measures should not be interpreted as [23:02] confirmation of an imminent US attack. [23:06] Inside Iran, the military is preparing [23:08] its own message. [23:10] State television recently broadcast [23:11] footage said to show army commander Amir [23:14] Hatami visiting an underground drone [23:17] manufacturing facility. [23:19] Hatami said production centers were [23:21] expanding and that the military had [23:23] accumulated reserves. [23:25] Before the war, Iran was estimated to [23:27] possess the capacity to manufacture [23:29] approximately 10,000 drones per month. [23:33] That historical figure does not tell us [23:35] how many operational drones Iran [23:37] possesses today. [23:39] The location and the filming date of the [23:41] new underground footage have not been [23:43] independently verified. Still, the [23:46] broadcast shows what Tehran wants its [23:47] opponents to believe. That its military [23:50] production network can survive even [23:52] after extensive attacks. [23:54] There's another revealing development [23:56] inside the Iranian leadership. [23:58] Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher [24:00] Qalibaf has canceled his planned [24:02] appearance at the BRICS Parliamentary [24:04] Forum in India on October 26th and 27th, [24:08] citing unforeseen circumstances. [24:11] An Iranian parliamentary delegation will [24:13] attend without him. [24:15] The official announcement gives no [24:17] explanation connecting his absence to [24:19] military preparations or an internal [24:21] political dispute. [24:23] At the diplomatic level, Tehran is [24:25] sending contradictory signals. [24:27] Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has [24:30] called for another attempt to reach an [24:31] agreement with Washington, even while [24:34] blaming the United States for the [24:35] failure of earlier negotiations. [24:38] Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, Reza [24:40] Amiri Moghaddam, has described Tehran's [24:43] willingness to reopen the Strait of [24:45] Hormuz if Washington lifts its naval [24:47] blockade of Iranian ports. [24:50] He says the proposal was communicated [24:52] through Pakistan and that the American [24:54] administration rejected the exchange. [24:57] Yet sources quoted by an Iranian agency [24:59] affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards [25:02] insist that no new proposal has been [25:04] delivered to the Pakistani mediators. [25:07] They maintain that Iran's previously [25:08] communicated conditions remain in place. [25:12] These statements may refer to different [25:13] diplomatic initiatives. They do not [25:15] establish that the Iranian government [25:17] has agreed on a new concession. [25:20] And there is no confirmed breakthrough. [25:22] The pressure extends far beyond [25:24] negotiations. [25:26] Iraq and Pakistan have closed several [25:28] important land crossings with Iran, [25:31] adding another restriction to an economy [25:33] already struggling with the American [25:35] naval blockade. [25:37] One of the affected routes is the Shieb [25:39] crossing between Iran and Iraq. [25:42] At the end of September, Iranian reports [25:44] described approximately 17,000 trucks [25:47] waiting at remaining trade routes, with [25:49] some drivers facing delays exceeding 20 [25:52] days. [25:53] Perishable agricultural products have [25:55] been abandoned, while more than 5,400 [25:58] tons of bottled gas were reportedly [26:01] stranded near the Pakistani border. [26:03] For Tehran, these restrictions affected [26:06] the movement of commercial goods, as [26:08] well as potential revenue from exports. [26:11] Washington hopes that economic damage [26:13] will produce concessions. [26:15] Tehran is trying to demonstrate that it [26:16] can withstand the pressure. [26:20] Before we continue, I want to ask you to [26:23] help us keep this reporting reaching [26:26] people who need to understand what's [26:27] happening in Israel. If this report [26:30] helps you make sense of the conflict, [26:32] please like it, share it with someone, [26:34] and subscribe to Boots on the Ground. [26:37] Since October 7th, you followed us [26:39] through Gaza, along Israel's northern [26:41] border, and across at the front lines of [26:44] this war. [26:45] You've prayed for us and our families [26:47] through some of extraordinarily [26:49] difficult days, and those prayers have [26:51] meant more than we can express. We've [26:54] also witnessed remarkable moments of [26:55] faith, resilience, and what we believe [26:58] are miracles in the middle of these [27:00] challenges. [27:02] Yair Pinto shares that journey in his [27:04] new book, Boots on the Ground. [27:28] Now, while Washington and Tehran weigh [27:30] their next moves, Saudi Arabia is [27:32] already facing another active missile [27:34] campaign. [27:36] On Saturday, Saudi-led forces announced [27:39] the interception of two ballistic [27:40] missiles launched from Yemen toward Taif [27:43] and Yanbu. [27:44] Emergency authorities subsequently [27:46] reported missile debris in several [27:48] locations, including areas near Mecca, [27:52] Jeddah, Taif, and Rabigh. [27:55] The Houthis denied deliberately [27:56] targeting the Muslim holy cities. [27:59] Their military spokesman, Yahya Saree, [28:02] claimed a broader series of operations [28:04] against Saudi airports, oil facilities, [28:07] and military installations. [28:09] The claimed targets included King Khalid [28:11] International Airport in Riyadh, King [28:14] Fahd International Airport in Dammam, an [28:16] Aramco facility at Yanbu, the Rabigh [28:19] fine refinery, and the East-West oil [28:22] pipeline. [28:23] Saudi authorities have not independently [28:25] confirmed that all those targets were [28:28] hit. [28:29] Meanwhile, Yemen's internationally [28:30] recognized government reported three [28:32] ballistic missiles fired at Coast Guard [28:35] facilities in Aden. [28:37] The fighting has become particularly [28:39] sensitive because Yanbu and the [28:40] East-West pipeline allows Saudi Arabia [28:43] to export oil through the Red Sea [28:45] without relying on the Strait of Hormuz. [28:48] The economic consequences are already [28:50] visible. [28:51] Brent crude closed Friday at $116.72 per [28:57] barrel, [28:58] its highest settlement in nearly 6 [29:00] months. [29:01] American WTI crude finished at $103.27. [29:07] Saudi Aramco had also ordered an [29:10] evacuation of its Dammam headquarters, [29:12] while a separate oil spill near the [29:14] United Arab Emirates added to market [29:16] concerns. [29:17] Saudi Arabia is responding by [29:19] strengthening its regional defense [29:20] partnerships. [29:22] Riyadh and Islamabad have completed [29:24] ratification of the Mecca joint defense [29:26] agreement signed with Turkey in August. [29:30] Its collective defense provision treats [29:32] an armed attack against one [29:34] participating state as an attack against [29:37] all three. [29:38] Turkey's parliamentary ratification is [29:40] still pending. [29:42] No new Turkish deployment to Yemen has [29:44] been confirmed. [29:45] Interestingly, Iran's ambassador to [29:47] Pakistan has said Tehran will examine [29:49] the agreement before deciding how to [29:52] respond to it. [29:53] And now to Lebanon, where a very [29:55] different calculation is taking place. [29:58] Hezbollah has reportedly assured [29:59] Lebanese Parliament speaker Nabih Berri [30:02] that it will not join another war on [30:04] Iran's behalf. [30:06] Berri passed the message to President [30:08] Joseph Aoun. [30:09] An Iranian deputy foreign minister [30:11] reportedly told Lebanese lawmakers that [30:13] Tehran would not request request [30:15] Hezbollah's intervention, although [30:17] Iran's embassy has disputed the account [30:19] of its discussions. [30:21] The Lebanese leadership remembers what [30:23] happened in March. [30:25] Hezbollah previously promised to stay [30:27] out of the confrontation, but [30:29] subsequently fired six rockets towards [30:31] Israel. [30:33] The organization is now confronting [30:34] significant pressure from within its own [30:37] Shiite community. [30:38] A September survey of 800 Lebanese [30:41] Shiites found that 66.4%supported [30:44] transferring Hezbollah's weapons to [30:46] state control. [30:48] At the same time, 59.5%expressed some [30:51] degree of confidence in the [30:53] organization. [30:55] These figures revealed dissatisfaction, [30:57] but they do not mean Hezbollah has lost [30:59] its entire political base. [31:01] The organization's leadership must [31:03] consider the possibility of another [31:05] devastating Israeli response and another [31:07] wave of displacement among Lebanese [31:09] civilians. [31:11] That makes its latest promise important, [31:14] although hardly a guarantee. [31:16] There's one more international [31:17] development worth watching, [31:19] the unrest spreading across Europe. [31:22] France has experienced another weekend [31:24] of major demonstrations over living [31:26] costs, education, and public services. [31:30] French authorities counted approximately [31:31] 410,000 protesters nationwide on [31:35] Saturday, including 110,000 in Paris. [31:40] Around 70,000 security personnel were [31:42] deployed. [31:43] By Saturday evening, nearly 1,000 people [31:46] had reportedly been arrested. [31:48] Some demonstrations remained peaceful, [31:51] while others involved clashes, fires, [31:53] and attacks on property. [31:55] The Louvre and other cultural [31:57] institutions closed as a precaution. [32:00] In Milan, Italian authorities [32:02] strengthened security around commercial [32:04] districts, while Barcelona experienced [32:07] violent confrontations and burning [32:09] barricades. [32:10] These developments have also revived a [32:12] controversial debate about radical left [32:15] activism and political Islam. [32:17] Critics argue that movements with very [32:19] different visions of society [32:21] contemporarily cooperate when they share [32:23] opposition to Western institutions or [32:26] Israel. [32:27] They point to Iran's 1979 revolution [32:30] when Islamist and left-wing factions [32:32] united against the Shah before pursuing [32:35] sharply different political futures. [32:38] But France's current demonstrations [32:40] began over economic and social [32:42] grievances. [32:43] Their scale is not evidence that the [32:45] protesters collectively support Islamist [32:47] extremism. [32:48] The concern for Jewish communities is [32:50] nevertheless real, especially when [32:52] anti-Israel rhetoric turns into [32:55] anti-Semitic intimidation. [32:58] Belgian philosopher Martin Boudry has [33:00] argued that Europeans who ignored Jewish [33:02] warnings about extremism may now be [33:05] confronting dangers they failed to [33:07] recognize. [33:08] It's a political interpretation, not an [33:11] established explanation of the unrest. [33:14] The immediate challenge facing France is [33:16] restoring public safety while protecting [33:18] the right to peaceful protest and the [33:21] security of Jewish citizens. [33:24] Matty, that brings us back to Israel, [33:27] where the country's security leadership [33:28] is preparing for threats that could [33:30] emerge well before any formal decision [33:33] in Washington. [33:35] >> Thank you, Ashley. [33:36] Here in Israel, officials are [33:38] particularly concerned [33:40] about what Iran and its regional [33:42] partners might attempt while the [33:44] political situation remains uncertain. [33:47] Israeli officials have warned that Iran [33:50] or its proxies could consider an attack [33:52] ahead of Israel's October 27th election. [33:55] That concern does not mean an attack has [33:58] been approved or that Israeli [33:59] intelligence has identified a specific [34:01] date. [34:02] But Israel has also received a reported [34:05] threat from Hamas delivered through a [34:07] United Nations intermediary [34:09] suggesting the group could attempt [34:11] another attack resembling October the [34:13] 7th. [34:14] Now, this is not exactly confirmed and [34:16] we don't know that they have the [34:17] capability [34:19] to repeat an operation on that scale. [34:21] The Israeli military continues preparing [34:23] for possible threats while monitoring [34:26] developments involving Iran, Hezbollah, [34:28] and armed groups in Gaza and the West [34:30] Bank. But for now, the decisions in [34:33] Washington remain unresolved, the [34:35] investigations in Iraq remain open, and [34:38] Iran's allies are calculating what [34:40] another war could cost them. [34:42] If even one of these fronts escalates [34:45] before diplomacy produces an agreement, [34:47] how quickly could the confrontation [34:49] spread across the region? [34:51] So guys, keep spreading the truth. [34:54] Follow us and most importantly, don't [34:55] forget to click the subscribe button so [34:57] that you stay tuned to the truth in [34:59] Israel in real time and never miss boots [35:01] on the ground. [35:02] Keep looking for us, myself, Mati [35:05] Shoshani, and Yael Pinto on social media [35:08] to see life in Israel through our eyes, [35:10] and don't forget to pray for the peace [35:12] of Jerusalem. And I'll say this simply, [35:14] guys, stand with us in prayer now. We're [35:16] about to enter into an election season [35:18] in Israel. [35:19] Many say in Israel that these are some [35:20] of the most dramatic elections. They're [35:22] the first after October the 7th, and [35:24] there's a lot on the table. Financially [35:26] speaking, politically speaking, as a [35:29] sense of and a need for unity in this [35:31] country, let's just take a minute to [35:32] pray together. Father God, we ask that [35:35] you guide the people of Israel; that you [35:37] guide the hand of us as we elect our [35:40] next generation of leaders in this [35:41] country; that you determine the outcome [35:43] of these elections; and that you [35:44] safeguard our people. that you provide a [35:47] spirit of unity and a mindset of [35:50] togetherness in this country to continue [35:52] remaining strong [35:54] and cohesive in our in our identity, in [35:57] our nature, in our messaging, and [35:59] our religious beliefs here in this [36:01] country, and hold us all together, [36:03] protect us, guide us, and raise up the [36:05] next correct generation of leaders. And [36:07] as I always say, let your will be done [36:10] on Earth as it is in heaven, especially [36:12] when it comes to politics. And as [36:14] always, guys, be blessed, and I'll see [36:16] you all the next time.
