Transcript [00:00] Europe is burning. And to everyone who [00:03] spent the last 3 years chanting [00:05] globalized the antif, congratulations. [00:08] Did you think the word globalized meant [00:11] everywhere except your own neighborhood? [00:14] Look at the images coming out of France [00:16] and Italy. City halls set on fire, shops [00:18] destroyed, police officers attacked, [00:21] ordinary citizens watching their [00:23] livelihoods disappear. And here's the [00:26] irony. For years, European leaders have [00:29] lectured Israel about restraint, about [00:31] security, about how we should respond [00:34] when extremists threaten our citizens. [00:37] Well, I have a question for those [00:38] leaders today. How does restraint look [00:42] when it's your own city hall burning? On [00:45] October 7, France witnessed serious [00:48] unrest across cities in the country. [00:52] City halls were set on fire in Merced. [00:54] Riders broke into the city hall in [00:56] Leyon. The tourist office was torched in [00:58] Paris. Shops were looted broken into and [01:03] police vehicles attacked in Italy, [01:05] Milan. Mas riers were also looting [01:08] shops, setting on fire things. [music] [01:11] And I want to be very clear, these [01:14] demonstrations [01:16] at first, according to [music] reports, [01:17] they began over schools, public [01:19] services, and the cost of living. Many [01:21] [music] of the early protesters were [01:24] peaceful. That's what we heard. I was [01:26] not there [music] to confirm this, but [01:28] peaceful protest ends where violence [01:31] begins. And you don't fight for [music] [01:33] better schools by burning your own city. [01:37] That's why I actually don't know if it [01:40] were actual French people burning the [01:43] city hall. Um, you don't fight poverty [01:46] by destroying someone else's livelihood. [01:49] Okay. One Paris shopkeeper reportedly [01:51] lost the business into [music] which he [01:53] had invested his entire savings. He told [01:55] the reporter that he didn't know how he [01:58] would support his family. Imagine that. [02:01] Spending years building a business, [02:03] working long hours, paying taxes, trying [02:05] to give your children a better future, [02:08] and then someone who has never met you [02:10] decides your shop is an acceptable [02:12] sacrifice for their political anger. But [02:15] what makes this story even more [02:17] frustrating is how Europe [music] has [02:20] been warned about extremism for years. [02:23] And one of the most extraordinary [02:25] warnings did not come from Israel. [02:27] [music] It came from an Arab leader. In [02:29] 2017, the United Arab Emirates foreign [02:32] minister Abdullah bin Zed warned [music] [02:34] the European countries about the [02:36] consequences of weak leadership and [02:39] political correctness in confronting [02:41] extremism. Listen carefully to what he [02:44] had to say nearly a decade [music] ago. [02:46] >> And let me say this in English so you [02:48] can understand what I'm saying. No, I [02:50] know you have translation, but I'm I [02:52] just want to make sure you get it right. [02:53] There will come a day that we will see [02:56] far more radical extremist and [02:59] terrorists coming out of Europe because [03:02] of lack of [03:06] decision-m [03:07] trying to be politically correct [03:10] or assuming that they know the Middle [03:14] East and they know Islam and they know [03:16] the others far better than we do. And [03:20] I'm I'm sorry, but that's pure [03:22] ignorance. [03:24] An Arab foreign [music] minister warning [03:26] Europe about extremism. He understood [03:29] something European politicians [music] [03:31] too often refuse to acknowledge. An Arab [03:33] foreign minister warning Europe about [03:36] extremism. How about that? He understood [03:39] something European politicians too often [03:41] refuse to acknowledge. Tolerance is a [03:44] virtue. Tolerating violent extremism is [03:47] a failure of leadership. You can respect [03:49] religious freedom without tolerating [03:52] religious extremism. You can welcome [03:54] immigrants without abandoning [music] [03:56] border security. And you can defend the [03:58] right to protest without giving anyone [04:01] permission to terrorize an entire [04:03] neighborhood or shops. These are not [04:06] [music] contradictions. [04:08] These are basic responsibilities of a [04:11] functioning democracy. And then there's [04:13] Benjamin Netanyahu. In a recent [04:15] interview, Israel's prime minister [04:16] recalled a conversation with no other [04:19] than French President Emanuel Mcron on [04:22] October 7, 2023. [music] According to [04:24] Netany, when Mcron urged restraint, [04:28] Netany warned him that if Hamas wasn't [04:30] defeated in Gaza, Europe could [04:33] eventually face the same extremist [04:35] threat. [music] Listen, [04:36] >> but you know, you mentioned France. [04:39] Mcronone called me on October 7th. [04:42] >> What did he say? He said, "You know, we [04:45] have to work to for an immediate [04:47] ceasefire and to solve this by [04:49] diplomacy." [04:50] And I said, "No, no, Emanuel, it's not [04:54] going to be solved by [music] diplomacy. [04:55] These are monsters. These are neo-Nazis. [04:58] You don't solve a problem of the SS, as [05:01] I told the German chancellor who came [05:03] here u with diplomacy, you destroy [05:07] them." And I I'd said to him this. I [05:10] said, "You know, [05:12] Kamas is like ISIS. In fact, it's worse [05:14] in some respects than ISIS. Even worse [05:17] than ISIS. And let me tell you, if we [05:19] don't stop kamas here, you'll see them [05:21] on the streets of Paris." And that's [05:24] exactly what is happening right now. Why [05:26] do European leaders so often recognize [05:29] the danger of extremism? Only when it [05:32] reaches their own doorstep. When Israel [05:34] fights Hamas, we are told to show [05:36] restraint. When Israel secures its [05:38] borders, we are criticized when Israel [05:41] warns about radicalization and [05:43] terrorism. [music] We're accused of [05:45] exaggerating the threat. But Israel [05:48] doesn't have the luxury of pretending [05:50] that [music] threats are just words. We [05:52] learn the consequences of ignoring [05:54] warnings on October 7th. And that's why [05:56] I find it extraordinary when leaders who [05:58] cannot guarantee security on their own [05:59] streets presume to lecture Israelis on [06:02] how to protect their families. President [06:05] Mcron has repeatedly criticized Israeli [06:07] military operations and called for [06:09] restrictions on weapons used in [music] [06:11] Gaza. Okay. I have a suggestion for [06:14] President Mcron. Before you lecture [06:16] Israel about protecting [music] its [06:17] citizens, show that you can protect [06:20] yours. President Donald Trump also [06:22] issued a warning about Europe's [06:23] direction. Let's see. [06:25] >> When I go to North Carolina today, I'm [06:27] going to be speaking about it. But [06:29] Europe has to change its ways or you're [06:31] not going to have Europe left. [06:33] You have to change your ways or you're [06:36] not going to have [music] Europe left. [06:40] And here's where I agree with the [06:42] underlying warning. Europe must make a [06:44] choice. Will it defend its laws, its [06:47] democratic [music] institutions, and the [06:49] safety of its citizens? Or will it [06:52] continue confusing weakness with [06:53] compassion? Because here's something we [06:55] understand in Israel. A country that is [06:58] afraid to enforce its laws will [07:00] eventually discover that someone else is [07:02] making the rules. And now comes perhaps [07:04] the most absurd part of this entire [07:08] story. Some conspiracy theorists have [07:12] found someone to blame for the unrest in [07:14] France. Guess who? Israel. Of course, an [07:17] anti-semitism watchdog documented more [07:19] than 1,300 [music] posts linking the [07:22] unrest to Jews or Israel, including [07:24] baseless accusations that Mossad [07:27] organized it. Seriously, French shops [07:30] are looted, [music] French buildings are [07:32] burned, French police are attacked, and [07:34] somehow in the minds of conspiracy [07:36] theorists, the Jews are responsible. [07:39] Apparently, some people would rather [07:41] invent an Israeli conspiracy than hold [07:44] the actual perpetrators accountable. Or [07:47] perhaps they're part of the whole uh the [07:50] crimes that are being committed on the [07:51] streets of Europe. This is one of the [07:53] oldest tricks in the anti-semitism [07:56] playbook. Okay? When something goes [07:59] wrong, blame the Jews. When society [08:01] faces a crisis, blame Israel. When facts [08:03] become inconvenient, invent a [08:06] conspiracy. and Americans watching this, [08:09] don't imagine your country is immune to [08:11] these lies. I say all of this as an [08:14] Israeli who wants Europe [music] and [08:16] America to succeed. I don't celebrate [08:18] seeing Paris damage. I don't enjoy [08:21] watching French families [music] lose [08:22] their businesses. I don't want European [08:25] cities to become dangerous places. I [08:28] want Europe to be safe, prosperous, and [08:30] [music] free. But freedom does not [08:33] survive simply because politicians give [08:36] beautiful speeches about it. Freedom [08:38] survives when societies have the courage [08:40] to defend it. And to Europe's leaders, [08:43] stop confusing [music] tolerance with [08:45] surrender. Stop treating law enforcement [08:48] as something to apologize for. And stop [08:51] lecturing [music] Israel about threats [08:52] that Israelis have been confronting for [08:55] generations. Because the greatest danger [08:57] to Europe is not that its enemies are [09:01] [music] too strong, is that its leaders [09:04] may become too afraid to defend what [09:06] makes Europe worth protecting. Europe [09:09] has not fallen beyond repair. It needs [09:12] to wake up though and the time to defend [09:14] your country is before the next building [09:16] burns which means right
France is burning. A historic city hall destroyed by fire, shops looted in Paris, police attacked across the country. For years European leaders lectured Israel about restraint. Now the chaos is on their own streets.
In this video I break down the riots sweeping France, the stunning warning a UAE foreign minister gave Europe years ago, what Prime Minister Netanyahu told Emmanuel Macron on October 7 2023, President Trump’s warning that Europe must change its ways, and the absurd conspiracy theories blaming Israel and the Jews for France’s riots.
Israel learned the cost of ignoring warnings. Will Europe learn it before the next building burns?
