Description (by owner on YouTube)
Three people held at the Delaney Hall detention facility have now died.
The mother of Edwin Lopez-Cornejo never heard from ICE when her son died in their custody. Because of a loophole, ICE is not required to notify a detainee's family when their loved one is hospitalized, suffers a medical emergency, or dies - that's why George Latimer and I introduced the Families Deserve to Know Act.
ICE should not be allowed to conceal deaths in their custody from loved ones or the public.
