Gaza children make video thanking Naza filmmakers

In a video posted on social media, Palestinian children from Gaza’s orphans camp thank Israeli filmmaker Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor for their documentary Naza, which exposes the Israeli military systems behind the mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.  Abraham and Szor have faced growing backlash in Israel since their film won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice festival, with far-right protesters calling for the death penalty “for the traitors”.  On Wednesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu joined Israeli culture minister Miki Zohar in attacking the filmmakers, saying he would introduce a bill to revoke the citizenship of those who "defame" the Israeli military.
