Transcript [00:01] Hey everyone, a dual citizen of the UK [00:04] and Iran has been arrested in connection [00:07] with that attempted attack, that [00:10] terrorist plot to carry out an attack at [00:12] an air force base in England, a base [00:15] used by uh by American pilots. And I [00:18] want to play you a clip of from Fox News [00:20] of General Jack Keane being asked about [00:23] it. And where he goes with the [00:25] conversation is so important. It goes [00:28] well beyond this attack. And he talks [00:30] about some of the fundamental issues [00:32] that are coming to the four right now in [00:35] the world in terms of facing evil, in [00:38] terms of where we go forward as a [00:40] civilization. I don't even know if he [00:42] intended to talk in such big terms, but [00:44] the things that he says are some of the [00:46] issues I've brought up on this channel [00:47] many times, and I think it's one of the [00:50] most important short clips of General [00:52] Keane I've ever seen. So, I'm going to [00:54] play it for you right now, and then [00:55] we're going to talk about it. Here we [00:56] go. [01:00] This UK story is one to watch and it is [01:02] growing by the day. An Iranian British [01:05] cit citizen has now been arrested in the [01:08] suspected plot targeting a UK air base [01:10] that the United States uses for strikes [01:13] on Iran. Five other suspects arrested [01:16] Sunday, then released on bail. Police [01:18] say that the men are still under [01:20] investigation with restrictions on where [01:22] they can go and who they can contact. [01:24] Iran denies being involved, but here is [01:26] British Prime Minister Andy Burnham [01:28] yesterday. [01:29] >> There are strong indications that Iran [01:32] played a part in what happened over the [01:34] weekend at RAF Fairford. Uh but of [01:37] course it remains an ongoing complex and [01:40] serious police investigation and of [01:42] course we are working closely uh with [01:44] our colleagues in the United States of [01:46] America. With that, we bring in retired [01:48] fourstar general Jack Keane, former Army [01:50] Vice Chief of Staff, now chairman of the [01:52] Institute for the Study of War and Fox [01:54] News senior strategic analyst. General, [01:56] great to have you with us. Um, what do [01:59] you think? I mean, now they're they've [02:00] brought in a 27-year-old man, arrested [02:02] him. They also interviewed another [02:04] 26-year-old man in the investigation of [02:06] this case uh that may have been plotting [02:09] an attack on this US UK base in England. [02:15] Well, it seems pretty obvious that with [02:18] the steps are coming closer to Iran, [02:20] having accountability here, and [02:22] certainly that's the case. And and [02:24] listen, they've been active for a long [02:26] time here. I mean, I I've been dealing [02:27] with a high British source that [02:29] indicated that the MI5 and the police in [02:32] the last five years have disrupted 19 [02:36] latestage Iranian attacks in the UK. [02:39] that they're not that's not publicly [02:41] common knowledge, but that's a fact. [02:44] >> So, it gives you a sense once again to [02:46] remind our own people uh you know how [02:49] extensive [02:51] Iran is in terms of being just not a [02:53] predator in the region, [02:55] >> but the exporter of terrorism around the [02:57] world and and they're linked with China, [03:00] they're linked with Russia, they're [03:01] linked with Iran. They they have come [03:03] together truly believing that they have [03:06] a huge opportunity now to change the [03:09] world order that that the United States [03:11] and like-minded democracies established [03:13] post World War II and they have all [03:15] become more aggressive as a result of [03:18] it. It's not isolated Russia's at war in [03:20] Europe and President Xi stepped up his [03:22] effort uh the last three or four years [03:24] and and obviously Iran went to war with [03:28] his with his proxies in in Israel. This [03:31] is all connected and Iran has this [03:34] terrorist activity network uh that has [03:37] been a worldwide problem for some time [03:39] and I've hope that where we are finally [03:42] getting to a place and not just a [03:45] consensus in the United States but an [03:47] international consensus that it really [03:49] is not going to be enough to continue to [03:52] appease this regime to continue to make [03:55] one diplomatic effort after another as [03:57] part of that appeasement strategy to try [04:00] to work out some kind of a compromise [04:02] with this regime when one, they're never [04:06] going to comply with it anyway. It [04:08] doesn't fit their goals, but we will [04:10] give them the money as a result of that [04:14] to do what? To recover and to rebuild. [04:16] And that means we're passing the problem [04:18] on. And we're not solving the problem. [04:21] This appeasement diplomacy with Iran has [04:23] been a miserable failure for decades. [04:26] And we've got to come to the conclusion [04:29] and we've got to have the mental [04:30] toughness and the spine to look at it [04:32] for what it really is and say this [04:35] regime has got to go. [04:36] >> Yeah. [04:37] >> That [04:39] has got to be our objective [04:41] >> to to that. [04:42] >> Okay. Before we go on with the next clip [04:44] here, [04:45] this is I'm going to put I'm going to [04:48] put what he just said in slightly [04:51] different terms, but I think that there [04:52] are terms we have to start saying all [04:54] the time. [04:58] The appeasement camp [05:03] and the appeasement camp is everyone who [05:07] wants negotiations. [05:10] Even the people in the Trump [05:11] administration who want negotiations, [05:13] everyone who wants negotiations. And I'm [05:15] not just talking about with Iran. I'm [05:17] talking about with all the evil actors. [05:19] this whole concept [05:22] that it's better and more peaceful and [05:26] it's preferable to come to some sort of [05:29] negotiated resolution [05:31] when you're dealing with an [05:32] ideologically [05:35] an ideological foe. So, it's not just [05:37] about Iran, it's also about it's about [05:42] it's about the Palestinians. It's [05:44] aboutbah [05:47] whenever you're dealing with these with [05:50] these evil actors who are ideologically [05:52] motivated. [05:54] If you try to appease them, if you and [05:58] you and there's a reason that that [06:01] negotiators appeasers feel very virtuous [06:04] because they're avoiding war. War is [06:06] bad. So let's avoid war and let's come. [06:08] It's better to have a negotiated [06:11] solution, a negotiated settlement if you [06:12] have two kids fighting in the [06:13] playground. Better to pull them apart [06:15] and have them talk to each other and [06:17] come up with some sort of negotiated [06:18] settlement. Let's shake and be friends. [06:20] But that's not what we're dealing with [06:22] here. [06:23] And what I want to say is this, [06:28] the peace, the quote unquote peace camp, [06:30] the negotiations camp, they're actually [06:33] the wararmongers. [06:35] They don't intend to be, but they're the [06:36] wararmongers. [06:39] They're the ones who are in favor of [06:42] perpetual war. They're the ones who [06:44] claim that they're against forever wars. [06:46] And I'm talking now to a lot of the [06:48] people on the political right, a lot of [06:49] friends of mine, people in the MAGA [06:51] movement, people in the America First [06:53] movement, [06:54] who who are like, we're against forever [06:57] wars, so we don't want this war in Iran. [07:00] We want to tamp it down. [07:03] You're the wararmonger because you as as [07:06] Jack Keane just said, you are [07:07] guaranteeing if we come to a negotiated [07:10] settlement with these guys, whatever it [07:12] is, whatever negotiated settlement we [07:14] come to, even if they agree to all sorts [07:15] of conditions, it will involve them [07:18] staying in power. It will involve them [07:20] getting economic relief. And that means [07:22] that you've kicked the can down the [07:23] road. And that means you will have [07:25] forever war. That means you will have [07:27] global terrorism forever [07:31] for the foreseeable future. You're [07:32] perpet you are perpetuating it. That's [07:35] the forever war camp. The peace camp [07:40] is those of us who want to bring down [07:41] the regime once and for all to [07:42] aggressively do so. Who who the ones who [07:45] say we never should have stopped [07:46] bombing. We never should have gone to a [07:48] ceasefire on April 8th. We should have [07:50] just kept going and brought them down. [07:51] We're the peace camp. We're the ones who [07:53] actually want to get on the other side [07:55] of this problem to a better world [07:58] without it so that we don't have war. [08:02] So, we have to stop calling the [08:05] appeasers and the negotiators [08:08] the peace camp. They've chosen they've [08:10] taken that brand that they're the ones [08:12] in favor of peace and we're the wararm [08:14] mongers because we want to go aggressive [08:15] against our enemies. No, we're the peace [08:19] camp because we actually want to solve [08:21] the problems and not perpetuate them. [08:24] That's the key point I wanted to raise [08:25] on this on this here. [08:28] But also, you see there that, you know, [08:29] the the UK prime minister saying that, [08:31] you know, Iran is involved here. Now, [08:33] but there's going to be more to say on [08:35] this in a moment, but just to keep in [08:36] mind [08:38] for the UK prime minister to openly say [08:41] out of his out of his mouth to come the [08:43] words that there's a high likelihood [08:45] that Iran is involved, this isn't Trump [08:47] talking. Now, I love Trump, but if Trump [08:50] were to say something like that, he [08:53] sometimes throws things out there as [08:54] part of the gamesmanship or he's [08:57] throwing out a speculation. [08:59] He's playing people [09:02] for the UK prime minister with all of [09:04] their capitulation to the Muslim world, [09:06] with all of their fear of jihad and the [09:09] Muslim world, for him to actually say [09:11] that there's a high likelihood that Iran [09:13] is involved here. You know that there's [09:14] a high likelihood that Iran is involved [09:16] here, which brings us to this next part [09:18] of the clip. point, General. Uh, this is [09:22] what the former British foreign min [09:24] prime minister uh, Kier Starmer said the [09:26] day after the February 28th attack that [09:29] killed the Ayatollah and much of his top [09:32] tier. Let's remember this. Watch. [09:35] >> We were not involved in the initial [09:38] strikes on Iran [09:40] and we will not join offensive action [09:43] now, but Iran is pursuing [09:46] a scorched earth strategy. [09:49] So, we are supporting the collective [09:52] self-defense of our allies and our [09:56] people in the region. [09:59] >> I mean, those two things seem a bit at [10:01] odds. Uh, your thoughts on that looking [10:03] back, General? [10:06] >> Well, this has been a part of the [10:07] problem for some time. [10:09] >> I mean, there are countries here that [10:12] actually fear the Iranians, and that's [10:15] part and parcel what what what he's [10:17] dealing with there. He's so he's no [10:19] longer in power and there's other [10:21] reasons for that but this is this is [10:23] part of it and a lack of moral clarity [10:26] and will to stand up to adversaries in [10:28] the world that are clearly predicate and [10:31] very much aware of the 19 plots I just [10:34] talked about in his country where they [10:36] were trying to kill his citizens and he [10:38] still has an attitude like that. [10:40] >> Yeah. and and and see Iran has had this [10:43] strategy and Martha it's been a [10:45] brilliant strategy for multiple decades [10:48] and that is to use proxies as opposed to [10:51] their own capabilities and and that [10:54] gives countries deniability. It happened [10:56] with Reagan when they blew up our [10:57] embassies, two of them in 1983 in the [11:00] Marine barracks. We did nothing about [11:02] it. [11:02] >> That's right. [11:03] >> Uh we had deniability. Now Reagan got [11:06] smart real quick on it and went after [11:08] these guys because he realized who they [11:10] are. But we've got to get a consensus [11:12] here and under President Trump's [11:14] leadership, I think we'd have a huge [11:16] opportunity to take these guys off the [11:19] board once and for all. And let's move [11:21] then towards the stability and peace [11:24] that's at hand here. Look at the [11:25] cooperation UAE and Saudi is giving with [11:28] the Israelis over this over this [11:30] incident. That's the future. Iran is not [11:33] the future. [11:35] Um, [11:38] >> look this is this is everything. This [11:42] issue is everything. Think about Kier [11:45] Starmer. What did Kier Starmer say? We [11:49] were not involved. basically his [11:51] statement the day after the initial [11:54] attacks [11:56] of of February 28th when the US and [11:58] Israel went to war against the Iranian [12:00] regime, his his the first words out of [12:02] his mouth are, "We weren't involved. We [12:04] have nothing to do with it." But Iran is [12:08] going scorched earth and therefore we we [12:11] support defensive action, the defense of [12:14] our allies. Okay? So just put this in in [12:17] like ethical terms here. [12:22] some evil guy is attacking attacking [12:25] attacking attacking you and you say, [12:27] "You know what?" [12:31] And you say, "I'm not going to do [12:33] anything to stop him. I'm just going to [12:36] protect the people he's attacking. I'm [12:38] going to provide cover for you, but I'm [12:39] not going to do anything to I'm not [12:41] going to attack him at all. I'm against [12:43] attacking this guy who's attacking my [12:44] friends, but I'm in favor just of [12:47] providing a defensive shield for my [12:48] friends." How would how does that solve [12:50] any problem at all? It's just [12:52] fecklessness. [12:54] It's it's so ridiculous. We're just We [12:58] are opposed to all offensive action. [13:00] We're not going to participate in any [13:01] offensive action, but we do support the [13:02] defense of our allies. So, go ahead, [13:05] Iran. Shell as much as you want. We're [13:06] not going to do anything to you. We're [13:07] not going to we're not going to attack [13:08] your missile sites. We're not going to [13:10] attack your nuclear sites. We're not [13:12] going to attack your military bases. [13:13] We're not going to do anything. We're [13:14] opposed to that. But so we're just going [13:17] to tell our allies that we're going to [13:19] help them weather the storm. How is this [13:21] in any way moral? It's ridiculous. [13:24] This is the state of Europe. This is [13:27] what lack of moral conviction looks [13:29] like. And then what General Keane talks [13:32] about is the that there's a lack of [13:36] willingness to actually defeat enemies. [13:39] There's a lack of willingness to [13:40] actually get to the other side to get to [13:43] what's the future. And he talks about [13:45] the future being cooperation. The Saudis [13:47] and the Amiradis cooperating with the [13:49] Israelis on this incident. Now, that [13:50] cooperation wasn't so great. The Saudis [13:52] wouldn't even allow an Israeli airplane [13:54] to land in Saudi Arabia to pick up the [13:56] Israelis because of their, you know, oh, [13:59] can't have the Jews land here. So, it [14:01] wasn't the greatest cooperation. And [14:03] they do have the problem of their [14:04] domestic population that is, you know, [14:07] hates the Jews as much as anyone. So, [14:10] these are issues that will get worked [14:11] out in the future. But he's absolutely [14:13] right. We're living in this in this [14:15] upside down world where the Muslim Arab [14:19] countries are becoming more cooperative [14:21] with the Israelis and the European [14:24] nations are becoming more hostile to [14:26] Israel. Look at what just happened last [14:28] week, right? or over the last couple [14:29] weeks where the UK foreign secretary [14:32] announces this new this new sanctions [14:34] regime against Judea and Samaria going [14:36] after Israel for settlement activity and [14:40] for torpedoing the two-state solution [14:42] and all these European countries getting [14:44] on board and meanwhile the Amiradis and [14:46] the Saudis are drawing closer to [14:48] Israel's orbit [14:50] working more closely with the Israelis [14:53] but that's the future the future is we [14:55] want to solve problems and that's what [14:58] take brings down the the Iranian regime [14:59] will ultimately do it will solve the [15:02] problems. So remember the if the peace [15:06] camp is those of us who want to be [15:09] aggressive in taking down the Iranian [15:11] regime, who want to be aggressive in [15:14] defeating, who want to be aggressive in [15:17] bringing kamas to the point of absolute [15:20] destruction and defeat, unequivocal [15:21] defeat. It's the World War II model. We [15:24] should always remember that the World [15:26] War II model FDR saying that the only [15:29] acceptable outcome is the unequivocal [15:32] surrender, the unconditional surrender, [15:34] sorry, was the term because that's where [15:37] you can actually change hearts and [15:39] minds. That's where you can actually [15:41] move to a better day. When you remove [15:43] the evil actors, when it's clear that [15:44] they're defeated. [15:46] So here you have here you have the UK [15:50] that is being overrun by Muslims that [15:54] has all these terrorist plots being [15:56] being carried out being thwarted but all [15:59] these attempted terrorist plots going on [16:01] and when the United States goes after [16:03] Iran. Oh no no no we're not involved. It [16:06] wasn't us. [16:09] And then meanwhile they're sanctioning [16:10] Israel [16:13] because of building homes between Malay [16:17] Dumim and Jerusalem in this in this area [16:19] there in Judea. [16:22] The the the fecklessness, the lack of [16:25] moral clarity, the willingness to allow [16:28] problems to be perpetuated and not get [16:31] solved. [16:32] It's a lack of conviction [16:35] uh that uh is just is plaguing the [16:37] world. I know I'm repeating myself. I [16:39] talk about this all the time, but I [16:40] think this is as we read the news, as we [16:43] watch everything unfolding, this is what [16:44] we have to keep in mind when we're [16:46] talking to people about things. When [16:48] someone when someone says that they're [16:50] in favor of a negotiated settlement, say [16:52] to them, okay, [16:54] how how does that solve the problem long [16:57] term? [16:59] or just explain to them that that [17:01] perpetuates if you want if we want the [17:04] network, the drug trafficking, the human [17:07] trafficking, everything that Iran is [17:08] behind their their South American [17:11] proxies, the sleeper cells, [17:14] the Houthis, the the the militias. If we [17:17] want that all to remain intact, we will [17:19] find a negotiated settlement with Iran. [17:21] Because as Jack Keane says all the time, [17:23] there's no such thing as a negotiated [17:24] settlement that doesn't enrich the [17:26] Iranians. that you have to give [17:28] something to get something. So any [17:30] negotiation will involve the regime [17:32] remaining in power and they'll keep [17:34] their their network alive and they'll [17:36] start selling their oil again. [17:39] That's the forever war camp. They are [17:41] those who want forever war. So when [17:43] someone says they want to negotiate a [17:44] settlement, say to them, why do you want [17:46] forever war? [17:48] And they'll probably look at you, what [17:49] do you mean? I don't want forever war. [17:50] You You're the one who wants forever war [17:52] because you're fighting. They said, "No, [17:53] no, I don't want forever war. I want a [17:55] limited war. I want a quick, decisive [17:57] war. I want decisive war, which means [18:00] that it's over. The problem with all the [18:03] wars that we've had over the last few [18:05] decades is that we never end it. [18:08] We never actually take out the evil [18:10] actors. That's what leads to forever [18:13] war. And that's what negotiation leads [18:15] to. Negotiation is capitulation. [18:18] Okay, let's remember that. Negotiation [18:20] is capitulation. The only way to solve [18:23] this problem is victory. There's no [18:25] substitute for victory, as they say, [18:26] right? All right, I'll leave it there. [18:28] Thanks for watching. Please uh like, [18:30] subscribe, share, all that stuff. Have a [18:32] wonderful uh have a wonderful holiday. [18:35] And uh this holiday that we're heading [18:37] into in a few hours is the anniversary [18:39] of October 7th. Uh it's a very emotional [18:42] day. It's always also one of the most [18:44] joyous days in the Jewish calendar. So, [18:46] let's let's hope it's a peaceful one and [18:47] an enjoyable one. And God bless you.
