Marking 25 years since the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States, Jewish National Fund-USA, KKL, and the Embassy of the United States of America in Israel came together for their annual memorial ceremony at the 9/11 Living Memorial in Jerusalem to honor the victims of that tragic day. The 9/11 Living Memorial is the only memorial site outside the United States to feature the names of all the victims of the attacks. The unique monument stands as a symbol of the deep and enduring bond between Israel and the United States, grounded in shared democratic values, a commitment to peace, and a united front against terrorism. The ceremony was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee; Jewish National Fund-USA Chief Executive Officer Russell F. Robinson; Jewish National Fund-USA President Deb Lust Zaluda; Jewish National Fund-USA Chief Israel Officer Tali Tzour Avner; Major Cities Chiefs Association National Security Advisor and former New York City Police Department Chief of Intelligence and Counterterrorism Thomas Galati; Chairman of KKL-JNF Eyal Ostrinsky; Israel Fire and Rescue Authority Commissioner Eyal Caspi; Southern District Fire Department Commander Itzik Oz; U.S. Military Attaché Colonel Philip Messer; and other distinguished guests. Hamas hostage survivor Agam Berger is also participated in the memorial ceremony. During the ceremony, representatives from various organizations and agencies laid wreaths in memory of the victims, accompanied by U.S. Marines and Israeli firefighters.
