From Haifa to Kiryat Shmona: Bringing Shelter, Hope, and Humanitarian Aid During Israel's Time of War. Yoram Maman, Deputy Mayor of Kiryat Shmona, together with representatives from the Haifa Municipality, express their heartfelt gratitude to Joseph Project International for providing critical humanitarian aid to families displaced by the recent war. During the recent missile attacks, tens of thousands of residents in Haifa were forced to leave their homes in search of safety. Many apartment buildings had no bomb shelters, and public shelters quickly reached capacity. Underground parking garages were transformed into temporary communities where families, elderly residents, and children spent more than a month seeking refuge from the bombardment. Working alongside local partners, Joseph Project International helped provide beds, mattresses, food, hygiene supplies, and games for children, bringing practical comfort and dignity to those sheltering underground. During the war, one kitchen became a place of encouragement and hope for thousands of Israeli soldiers. What began by serving around 150 meals each day quickly grew to 500, then 800 daily meals, eventually providing food and comfort to nearly 170,000 IDF soldiers. Volunteers from Israel and around the world came together to prepare meals, cut vegetables, cook, and serve those protecting the nation during one of its most difficult seasons. Thank you for standing with Israel and helping us care for families in their greatest time of need. “I will bless those who bless you.” Genesis 12:3
