[02:53] Nicholas, what are investigators saying [02:54] about what caused Fortune's death? [02:57] >> Yeah. So, real quick, the big question [02:58] is that how did Taser Fortune died? This is [03:10] where JPD say they arrested a suspect in [03:12] connection with Taja Fortune's death. [03:14] and they say that the suspect was just [03:16] walking up and down Capitol Street like [03:18] it was any other day. Now, Fortune was [03:21] found in a hanging position on August [03:23] the 3rd behind a vacant home on Road of [03:26] Remembrance. Now, Chief Relle Bracken [03:28] would not say if Fortune died from the [03:31] hanging or not and would only say she [03:34] was found in the hanging. This case remains active. An [05:11] additional arrest will be pending as our [05:14] investigators continue to follow the [05:16] evidence wherever it leads. We [05:18] understand that this case has received [05:20] media attention from across the globe [05:22] and across this community. We understand [05:25] the questions and the desire for answers [05:27] given Mississippi's history. We [05:30] understand that this case is being [05:31] viewed through a broader lens, a global [05:33] lens, and we do not dismiss those [05:36] concerns. We are taking them seriously. [05:38] At the same time, we do have a [05:40] responsibility to make sure that what we [05:43] say publicly is supported by our [05:45] evidence and facts. We cannot speculate [05:47] about the nature or the manner in which [05:49] Misfortune was killed beyond what has [05:51] been officially determined by the [05:53] medical examiner. We owe it to [05:55] Misfortune, to her family, and the [05:57] integrity of this investigation to let [05:59] the evidence guide us. And there's still [06:01] work to do. Our examiner, our [06:03] investigators will [06:04] >> I think y'all got enough of that. The [06:06] thing is the the the interesting thing [06:07] that she said about that in that whole [06:09] press conference that there's more [06:10] arrests pending.
