Motherhood and Loss: Genia Judzki's Story

Continuing our series honoring the Jewish women who navigated an indescribable reality, our second episode shares the heartbreaking story of Genia Judzki. Approximately 1.5 million children were murdered in the Holocaust. Amidst this harrowing existence, Jewish mothers found the strength to continue caring for their children with a devotion that defied their surroundings. Time and again, mothers like Genia were forced to make agonizing decisions in order to save their children. We honor their courage, their sacrifice and the unwavering love they had for their children.
