Transcript [00:00] Watch what happens when Piers Morgan [00:02] claims that Qatar is not an enemy state [00:04] of Israel in front of Naftali Bennett. [00:08] Take a look. You posted this week uh [00:11] Natali Bennett. Netanyahu had an [00:12] historic opportunity to declare Qatar an [00:15] enemy and expose the entire world its [00:17] involvement in the October 7th massacre. [00:20] Netanyahu missed the opportunity and by [00:22] doing so, he's whitewashing and [00:23] legitimizing Qatar. Qatar is an enemy [00:26] with handstained by the massacre of our [00:27] people. Without Qatar, there is no [00:29] Hamas. We will declare Qatar an enemy, [00:31] expel it from Israel and Gaza, and [00:33] defeat Hamas. Now, I have to say that in [00:35] my lengthy interview, 50-minute [00:38] interview I did with the Qatari prime [00:39] minister, he didn't sherk any questions. [00:42] He didn't have any uh restrictions on [00:44] what I could ask him. He dealt with all [00:46] this head-on. He was actually, it seemed [00:48] to me, pleased to deal with this head [00:50] on, particularly the issue of the [00:52] so-called sinister influence that Qatar [00:56] is supposedly buying at university [00:58] campuses of trying to corrupt the minds [01:01] of young Americans and so on. uh and [01:04] also about the specifics of how the [01:07] Qatari money went into uh Gaza, how it [01:11] was used by Hamas and significantly it [01:14] seemed to me when he was telling me that [01:16] Israel ticked off every single payment [01:20] and was in charge of working out where [01:23] the payments went. So let's start first [01:25] of all with why you think they should be [01:28] deemed an enemy of the state because you [01:29] know looking at it from the sidelines. [01:31] You look at it and go well Qatar is in [01:33] the middle of all this right Qatar is [01:36] trying to broke a piece in Gaza because [01:39] it has the connections with Hamas. It's [01:41] trying to broke a piece with the Iran [01:43] war because it is obviously an ally of [01:45] the United States and it's also on good [01:47] terms with Iran. So this is how they [01:49] position themselves as the peacemakers [01:52] here. You clearly view them as something [01:54] very different. Why? [01:58] >> Well, they play a very sophisticated [02:00] two-faced strategy. On the one hand, [02:03] they pretend to be all western and all [02:06] very advanced and progressive. On the [02:08] other hand, let's look at the facts. [02:10] They hosted al-Qaeda. They hosted [02:13] Taliban for years and they were the base [02:16] for the uh Taliban recapture of [02:19] Afghanistan in 2021. [02:22] They funded kamas. They hosted kamas [02:25] leaders. They were in a sense the [02:28] architects of the building of the kamas [02:31] monster. They are the epicenter of [02:34] Muslim Brotherhood is Islamist. And on [02:38] October 7th, on October 7th, while Hamas [02:41] was still killing and massacring our own [02:44] people, Qatar came out with an official [02:47] statement blaming Israel. So when you [02:51] look at all the facts together, they are [02:54] a terror state. And when you host and [02:56] build Al Jazzer, which poisons the minds [03:00] and hearts of hundreds of millions of [03:03] Muslims to be anti-Semitic, well that [03:07] designates you as a terrorist state. [03:09] That's why we need to designate uh Qatar [03:12] as an enemy of Israel. I want to play [03:15] what he says specifically about the [03:17] issue of the funding of Gaza and to [03:20] Hamas and how he explained his [03:23] understanding of the arrangement which [03:25] involved Israel. Let's take a listen. [03:28] When it comes to the numbers and the [03:30] amounts of money that been [03:34] funded by to and now the claim that [03:37] these funds are going for Hamas military [03:39] military wing, it's totally absurd. the [03:42] monthly funds that were going uh to Gaza [03:46] were $30 million every month. That's [03:48] been very clearly requested by the by [03:52] the Israelis, coordinated with the [03:54] United States, with the United Nation [03:56] and it was going specifically through a [03:59] mechanism that's been defined by the [04:01] Israelis. It was going $15 million of [04:04] this buying gas from the Israelis to uh [04:09] operate the power generation generators [04:11] in Raza. The other 15 millions are [04:14] divided between assistance 10 million as [04:18] assistance to 100,000 families $100 per [04:22] family and those families who are living [04:24] under the poverty line verified by the [04:27] Israeli security agencies and the list [04:30] every month is getting approved by them [04:32] and there is 5 million that goes for the [04:35] salary of the civil servants in that's [04:38] also their list is verified and it goes [04:40] to a bank that's been approved by United [04:42] Nation and the Israelis and the Israelis [04:45] in fact they were moving the money [04:46] themselves to these banks [04:49] in order to uh get it dispersed for the [04:52] people. [04:53] >> So that's that's the prime minister of [04:55] Qatar squarely putting the blame here on [04:57] Israel. He says all the money was [04:59] approved by Israel. All families and [05:02] individuals were approved by Israel. [05:04] Even the mechanism to which the money [05:05] was paid out via banks was approved by [05:08] Israel. Now you were prime minister of [05:10] Israel in recent years. You know what [05:13] part of what he said there which has [05:15] been independently [05:17] verified by other bodies. Which part of [05:19] that is a lie? [05:22] >> Well, let's unpack this. First of all, [05:25] this was a colossal mistake of Prime [05:27] Minister Netanyahu. It is true that 2017 [05:31] and 2018. That's different. Well, hold [05:33] on. Hold on. [05:34] >> In 2017, let me give you the facts. [05:37] 2017 through 2018. It's correct. [05:40] Netanyao did initiate the Qatari [05:43] payments to Gaza. This was under an [05:46] appeasement uh policy, a horrendous [05:49] policy of Mr. Netanyahu. And these the [05:52] dollars came in suitcases in cash from [05:55] 2018 roughly till uh June of 21. When I [06:00] became prime minister, I stopped this [06:02] mechanism because we knew that this cash [06:05] was indeed going to the buildup of kamas [06:09] and I shifted it towards a $100 uh [06:13] payment in in these uh credit cards, you [06:17] know, prepaid credit credit cards where [06:19] families indeed went to the supermarket [06:22] and and bought with that. But that's one [06:24] component of so many other things [06:27] because I'm talking way beyond that. I'm [06:29] talking about funding for El Jazzer [06:32] employees that worked in Hamas and they [06:34] were part of the massacre on October [06:37] 7th. I'm talking about El Jazer itself [06:40] which poisons uh the the minds and to be [06:43] clear. Okay, but just to be clear of [06:45] millions of people, [06:46] >> right, but Natalie Bennett to be clear, [06:47] unless I misheard you, you are saying [06:48] that when you became prime minister, you [06:50] did continue with the system of [06:53] funneling money into Gaza, right? So [06:56] this this sort of narrative which is [06:58] built up which I've heard many times [07:00] from Israelis which is this was all [07:02] Qatari money, dirty money funding Hamas. [07:05] They knew what was going to happen. They [07:06] got blood on their hands and so on. Here [07:08] you've got successive Israeli prime [07:10] ministers including you who actually [07:13] licensed this funneling of the money. So [07:16] >> I I let's be very clear. I stopped these [07:19] uh uh cash suitcases and I ensured that [07:22] it went for humanitarian needs. that [07:25] 2018 through 2021 roughly $1.4 4 billion [07:30] dollars went directly to Yaya Sinoir. [07:34] And for example, uh the when Yaya Sinir, [07:37] who is one of the worst despicable [07:40] people on earth, when he was uh uh [07:42] killed by Israel, God bless, she praised [07:45] the the guy. This is the the mother of [07:48] the uh prime minister, she praised him [07:50] and talked about him as as this uh [07:53] sacred person. That's what we're talking [07:54] about, this two-faced uh thing. And I I [07:57] doubt that you asked them about all of [07:59] these elements. [08:01] >> Well, I asked him to to lay out his [08:03] understanding of how it worked. And it's [08:05] interesting to me that you've conceded [08:06] that even when you were prime minister, [08:08] you continued to allow money to flow [08:10] from Qatar into Gaza. So, this was [08:13] clearly something everybody knew about. [08:15] You're disputing how you did it. You're [08:17] disputing it was in suitcases. And [08:19] clearly, that goes to the heart of how [08:21] much of the money was going for the [08:22] reasons the prime minister saides until [08:26] June. understand [08:27] >> until June of 21 and then at and then it [08:29] went but it's way beyond it and I want [08:32] to talk about post October 7th because [08:34] frankly in Israel post October 7th we [08:38] gradually realized that Qatar is this [08:41] terror state. All of us in Israel did [08:43] not realize how uh uh despicable Qatar [08:47] is until the October 7th and its [08:50] aftermath. I I also uh concede that. [08:53] Okay. It was a wakeup call. The question [08:55] is what we do now and I believe that we [08:59] have to designate Qatar as an enemy [09:01] state because post October seth they [09:04] kept on strengthening Hamas and in fact [09:07] they want Hamas to prosper. So if we [09:10] want to dismantle Hamas how can you [09:12] allow Qatar to be the uh quarterback in [09:16] in Gaza if they want Hamas to prosper [09:19] and we want them to be eliminated. [09:22] I want to play you just on the issue of [09:24] the the cultural influence you claim [09:27] that they have been buying particularly [09:29] over Americans. This is the exchange we [09:31] had about the universities which I think [09:33] is relevant to this. Katar was the [09:35] largest foreign source of gifts and [09:38] contracts to American universities in [09:40] 2025 spending $1.1 billion and as you [09:44] know there are people like Ben Shapiro [09:47] and others who say things like Kadar [09:49] spent 8.8 8 billion on US universities. [09:52] A new report says they're using [09:53] contracts with Georgetown and [09:55] Northwestern to gain influence over [09:57] curriculum, faculty hiring, and [09:59] intellectual property to advance [10:01] Islamist movements. Laura Luma, who has [10:04] the ear of the president, posted on X I [10:06] love Donald Trump, "Sometimes you have [10:08] to call a spade a spade. Qatar funds the [10:10] Muslim Brotherhood, which funds BLM, [10:13] Antifa, and every Islamic radical in the [10:15] United States. Qatar is financing [10:17] terrorism and chaos in America. This is [10:19] undeniable. It's a proven fact. What do [10:22] you say to to these right-wing [10:25] influencers, some of whom do have the [10:27] ear of President Trump, when they're [10:29] saying stuff like this, that you're [10:31] waging a kind of concerted attempt to [10:35] warp the minds of Americans through [10:37] using universities as the conduit? [10:39] >> Well, actually, it's it's absurd. All [10:41] these universities have campuses in [10:44] anyone can come and ask the universities [10:46] their campuses in the professors if the [10:49] government is interfering in anything [10:51] related to the academia of of these [10:54] universities. these kinds of false [10:56] accusations about Qatar and using Qatar [10:58] as a scapegoat to justify war crimes to [11:02] justify students going uh you know [11:05] against the war in Gaza is is just you [11:08] know trying to uh play the blame game. [11:11] Netanyahu stood up in the podium. He [11:13] criticized the mayor of New York. He [11:15] criticized the influencers. He [11:18] criticized the student. He criticized a [11:20] lot of things in United States. Now [11:21] who's interfering and meddling with [11:23] United States politics? Is it or Israel? [11:26] >> I mean, it's a fair question, isn't it? [11:28] I mean, do you actually have any hard [11:30] evidence that they've been [11:31] systematically corrupting uh anyone or [11:35] is it they're just doing what a lot of [11:37] people, including Israel to a degree, [11:39] you know, financing places of learning, [11:42] education centers, and so on, where [11:44] American universities have campuses in [11:46] Qatar, for example. You know, it's easy [11:48] to say, well, this is obviously all evil [11:51] and they're obviously corrupting [11:52] everyone's minds. But can you actually [11:54] prove that? [11:57] >> Yes, we can. Uh I can uh provide you a [11:59] 60-page report of the FDD uh brain trust [12:03] which analyze the Qatar investment in [12:07] colleges in campuses in order to shift [12:10] opinions. And I have to hand it over to [12:12] Qatar. They did an amazing job. Think [12:15] about the the strategy. It's a tiny [12:17] island with 330,000 people. They have [12:20] billions of dollars from oil and they [12:23] understood that in order to protect [12:25] themselves and in order to create [12:27] influence within the the world and [12:30] influence according to the Muslim [12:31] Brotherhood strategy and doctrine they [12:35] can't use missiles so they use paychecks [12:37] and that's the what they've been doing [12:39] and proof is that on October 7th itself [12:43] while we were still being massacred this [12:46] huge campaign started on all these [12:48] campuses ha How were they so prepared? [12:51] It they didn't wake up within hours [12:54] prepare this amazing campaign. This is a [12:57] a Qatar strategy. You can watch El [13:00] Jazzer in Arabic which is very different [13:02] from El Jazzer in English. You can see [13:04] their ideology. It's radical Islam. I [13:07] think it is inconceivable to believe [13:10] that Qatar, the main sponsor of Hamas, [13:16] the same bad actors that are [13:18] continuously not only bashing Israel, [13:21] but trying to play both sides between [13:25] Islamists and the Muslim Brotherhood as [13:28] well as the West, telling the West one [13:31] thing while doing the other. talking [13:34] about peace while funding terrorism. [13:37] That is always been the problem with [13:40] Qatar. The mask is slipping. They are, [13:43] you know, increasingly letting their [13:45] Islamist side out. They need a clear [13:47] referendum [13:49] from the West and Western countries and [13:51] the United Nations and whoever the [13:53] to get up and say, "No, Qatar. You [13:56] cannot fund terrorism and be part of [13:59] this body." You know, you can't be part [14:01] of the coalition [14:04] that makes up the civilization, [14:08] right? You can't pretend like you are [14:11] somebody on the side, a a an [14:13] intermediary. [14:15] You are either with us or you are [14:17] against us. And that is the reality. And [14:19] when it comes down to it, I think Qatar [14:22] will choose the other side. They are [14:23] just biting their time to slowly weaken [14:26] us until that until that time at which [14:29] they finally do reveal themselves [14:31] completely. Thank you for watching and [14:33] I'll see you in the next one.
