Plane lands in Tel Aviv after attempted hijacking

A pilot stabbed his co-pilot and attempted to hijack a flydubai flight carrying over 100 Israeli passengers from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday, forcing the aircraft to divert and land in Saudi Arabia. Israeli passengers and crew subdued the attacker mid-flight as the plane plunged roughly 4,000 meters in altitude. Israeli security officials say a "major disaster was narrowly avoided" and are treating the incident as an act of terror, with initial investigations suggesting the suspect is of Omani nationality. --- Support our work to keep Israel safe: https://action.aipac.org/aipac-pac-donate?&pcg=PCG11698 AIPAC Merchandise: https://store.aipac.org/ Follow us on: X: https://www.twitter.com/AIPAC Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AIPAC/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/aipac/ TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@aipac LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/aipac Learn more about AIPAC: https://www.aipac.org/
