Mr. David, it's [00:12] always good to see you, sir. Welcome [00:13] back to the show. [00:15] >> Mr. Lambert, it's always a delight to [00:17] join you in conversation. [00:18] >> Uh the part of this conversation will [00:20] surround what I just touched on. That is [00:22] all things Iran. Um if my memory serves [00:26] me correct, the last time you happened [00:28] to appear on this show, I said the [00:30] president, being President Trump, said [00:31] that perhaps this will end very soon and [00:33] we'll have a handle on it. Fast forward [00:35] however long it's been and you are back [00:37] on the show and I say yet again, the [00:38] president says this will all end very [00:41] soon. What say you, sir? [00:44] >> Well, I wish that this would end. And as [00:47] I deal with different Iranian-Americans [00:50] in the United States, they also wish [00:52] that this would end. And the only way [00:54] this can end is if there will be an end [00:57] to the IRGC and the Islamic Republic as [01:01] we know it. We're hoping for things to [01:04] change in the Middle East. And it's hard [01:06] to change anything when we're dealing [01:08] with a bad faith actor. [01:10] >> Yeah, but you know, it's interesting [01:12] that we continue to have this [01:13] conversation and it's interesting that [01:16] that message has not spread to others. [01:19] Meaning overall, I would I concur with [01:22] you and I agree, but why do you think [01:24] that is? Why do you think that we are [01:25] still dealing with this and well, it's [01:28] not seen universally? [01:31] >> Well, why it's not seen universally is [01:33] due to a vast misinformation and [01:36] disinformation propaganda campaign that [01:38] Iran has been engaged in successfully [01:41] for now almost 48 years where they've [01:44] manipulated what world opinion is about [01:46] it. For example, when we see these [01:48] protests in the streets and people are [01:50] saying hands off Iran and are not [01:52] listening to actual Iranians. The vast [01:55] The of Iranians around the world and in [01:58] Iran are against the Islamic regime that [02:01] has been occupying them in Iran. So, why [02:04] people aren't listening to Iranians [02:05] themselves, [02:07] that's very hard for me to explain [02:09] because I think it's important to listen [02:10] to the people who are actually engaged [02:13] and from those regions. Now, when we [02:15] speak about what's going on with the [02:16] American involvement and the recent news [02:19] with Iran, the question is no longer [02:20] simply whether Iran has been weakened [02:23] militarily, the question is whether the [02:25] Islamic Republic retains the ability to [02:28] hold the region and the global economy [02:30] hostage, which is exactly what Iran is [02:32] doing. [02:33] >> Yeah.
The Islamic Republic’s leverage isn’t just military. It is holding the global economy hostage.
Iran’s regime understands the power of threatening regional stability, global commerce, and energy markets—and it uses that vulnerability as leverage.
So how do we win this war? We start by understanding what the regime is actually holding onto, what gives it power, and how that power can be broken.
And we listen to Iranians who know this regime firsthand.
The Islamic Republic is not the Iranian people. The IRGC is not the Iranian people.
