Transcript [00:00] Well, I hate to say I told you so, but I [00:03] experienced it, too. Now, what does that [00:05] mean? Now, I've never been kicked off [00:07] tour with Ed Sheeran, but I've been [00:09] kicked off tours, and I've not been led [00:12] on tours. And I've been conveniently [00:15] left out conveniently left out of so [00:19] many shows, collaborations, all due to [00:22] being Israeli in rap. Period. [00:27] Now, people think this is a big win. Oh, [00:30] the Jews, we're going to get it to stop. [00:32] No, it's not necessarily big win because [00:35] the trickle down effect is throughout [00:38] everything, right? It's that now [00:41] everyone's going to be using this as [00:42] fuel for the fire and saying, "We're not [00:45] bowing down to the powers of Ed Sheeran. [00:47] We're going to book all these artists [00:49] and they're all going to yell free [00:51] Palestine on our festival and they're [00:52] going to use it as a marketing tool to [00:54] get more people to participate [00:58] in what got them blocked here. So, this [01:00] is what I talk about in my film Bring [01:02] the Family Home is that why are we still [01:04] hostage to the hostage crisis after the [01:06] hostages have come home? [01:09] And is that it's never going to be [01:11] enough. You're never going to be free [01:12] enough. But no one knows exactly what [01:14] free is, right? Everyone has a different [01:16] mentality of what free is. [01:20] And we're going to continue to be in [01:22] this thing because it is financially [01:24] beneficial and emotionally beneficial [01:27] and engagement numbers wise beneficial [01:30] to us to engage in a topic of Israel [01:34] Palestine. Period. Your numbers are [01:36] going to shoot up. People are going to [01:39] like and you're going to say, "I'm just [01:40] sticking up for my people." Well, me [01:43] personally, I am sticking up for my [01:44] people, [01:46] but in so many other cases, these people [01:48] are not your people. Um, you've sort of [01:51] jumped onto a cause. It's a valid cause. [01:54] We care about Palestinians. We care [01:56] about everyone, right? We care. We just [01:58] want peace in the world. We care about [02:00] everyone. But we realize it costs other [02:04] people jobs. [02:06] It ruins the events for our fans and our [02:09] followers. You got people jumping onto [02:12] baseball [02:14] uh stadiums waving flags on 9/11 and [02:18] people are thinking what is what has [02:20] happened and is that we've lacked the [02:24] ability to go viral with our own [02:28] beautiful stories by co-opting another [02:31] story that gets all the attention. [02:35] And at some point, at some point when [02:37] you hit the top, the powers that be will [02:40] break it down. [02:42] And let me just tell you, [02:45] for anyone that's Israeli, Jewish, [02:49] this has been happening to me since [02:51] 2008. [02:54] Do you know why? [02:57] Because if you're Israeli, this is when [03:00] things really started. Jews were kicked [03:02] out of Gaza in 2005. [03:05] I could go on and on, but it's sad [03:09] because this is just the beginning of [03:11] the [ __ ] end. And [03:14] I really hope Malcolmore [03:17] takes time to just take a step back and [03:20] say, you know what, let me go let me [03:22] take a step back and let me talk to [03:25] Israelis, [03:28] not my uh Instagram comment section. [03:34] That sucks.
