So, we say that [00:06] women are created k'irso no, according [00:09] to Hashem's will, which means they're [00:10] perfect. The truth is, if you see what [00:12] women say in the morning, they say, [00:14] "Sha'asani k'irso no." That you made me [00:17] according to your will. And that's [00:19] Hashem's highest aspect. It's called [00:21] keter in Kabbalah, Hashem's will. So, [00:24] woman is created how Hashem wants people [00:26] to be. And all over Judaism, we teach [00:28] that women are actually on a higher [00:30] spiritual than men. That's why women, [00:33] for example, don't need circumcision [00:35] because we said that the physical world [00:37] represents a spiritual reality. The man [00:39] is created physically imperfect, and [00:42] therefore we have to perfect him through [00:43] circumcision. The woman is created [00:46] spiritually, and therefore physically [00:48] perfect. She doesn't need circumcision. [00:49] And also, that's why she doesn't need to [00:51] do so many mitzvahs. We got lots of [00:52] mitzvahs to do cuz mitzvahs pump up your [00:55] soul. Women don't need their soul pumped [00:57] up. And secular guys [01:04] come in, and they're like, "It's not [01:06] fair. Why do I have to put on tefillin [01:07] and make up a minyan?" [01:09] It's because we have different spiritual [01:11] powers. A woman is perfect. She has to [01:12] maintain her perfection. A man is [01:14] created imperfect, and he has to become [01:16] more perfect. So, when a man says, [01:18] "Thank you for not making me a woman," [01:20] it's just saying, "Thank you for giving [01:22] me this opportunity to build myself." [01:24] That's what I'm interested in doing. I'm [01:25] interested in perfecting myself. So, he [01:27] says, "We all say thank you you didn't [01:29] make me a non-Jew cuz they have even [01:30] fewer mitzvahs. And a slave cuz they [01:32] have fewer mitzvahs. A woman, they have [01:34] fewer mitzvahs because as a man, I want [01:35] to get out there. I want to change [01:37] myself, change the world, and build [01:38] myself. Whereas a woman, she just has to [01:40] maintain her perfection. Another way [01:42] women are seen to be more spiritual and [01:44] more b'tzelem Elokim, in the image of [01:46] God, is that they have a womb. They get [01:48] to give birth. They really get to create [01:50] a child, which a man doesn't have.
