Transcript [00:00] I would say these are the most important [00:03] elections ever in Israel's history only [00:05] because I would say that every election [00:06] because every election is so important [00:08] because are we going to go to a [00:09] Palestinian state now or not? Israel was [00:12] more or less founded on a lot of secular [00:15] uh leftwing values like it's being [00:18] pulled every year more and more right [00:20] and more and more towards Torah values. [00:24] 27% of Israelis increased their [00:26] observance of religious customs since [00:28] October 7th. Prayer was the most common [00:30] change. 31% of Jewish respondents and [00:32] 38% of those under 25 are reporting [00:36] praying more. [00:37] >> The mountains are being made low and [00:39] they're filling in the valleys to make a [00:41] straight road. That's literally the [00:43] vision that Isaiah had as I'm driving to [00:45] Jerusalem last night. [00:49] Hello and welcome to the Israel Guys, [00:51] where we believe that in a world of [00:52] anti-Israel propaganda and Jew hatred, [00:54] you should always stay connected and be [00:56] connected to the land and to the people [00:58] of Israel. Glad to be with you guys [01:00] again once again. Two weeks in a row, [01:01] guys. We're on a roll. Um Joshua Waller, [01:04] Jeremy Gimpel, Arya Bramwoods all the [01:06] way from Judea. And um if you guys knew [01:10] what went on before the cameras started [01:12] rolling, [01:14] >> I don't know. Um, we're trying, we have [01:17] this members program. We're trying to [01:18] decide like the content is worthy for [01:21] you guys to see, but only if you're a [01:23] member. So, uh, [01:24] >> it would be very disillusioning [01:26] >> if you think we should put a camera, one [01:28] of those uh, can like one of those uh, [01:30] cameras they put in their cars that you [01:32] could actually hear what's going on on [01:33] the car ride from Judea. [01:34] >> That's what I was going to say to [01:35] Samaria. People say like, "Oh, Ari and [01:37] Jeremy, it's like David and Jonathan." I [01:39] I don't know that David and Jonathan [01:41] nearly killed each other. I think it was [01:42] Saul. [01:43] >> David and Saul really more like it. [01:47] >> You guys, I mean, Jeremy and I are do [01:48] they do drive hours and hours to do this [01:50] show every single week. So, you guys [01:52] should give them some uh kudos in the [01:54] comments, guys. Give them a big thank [01:56] you. Make sure they make sure they know [01:57] how much you guys appreciate this show. [01:59] >> He didn't have to say that. [02:01] >> Anyways, um [02:06] yeah, be in touch. [02:06] >> He reads the comments. He does. He He [02:08] does read the comments. So, guys, make [02:09] sure you subscribe. Make sure you're [02:10] following whether you're listening, [02:11] watching, whatever platform it is. Uh, [02:13] and let us know if you're a brand new [02:15] viewer, whether you appreciate the show, [02:16] whether you appreciate Ari, he he needs [02:18] that. So, [02:18] >> I need it. I'm very fragile. [02:20] >> Um, obviously the biggest topic in [02:22] Israel this week and and know so many of [02:24] you guys are outside Israel, but the [02:26] biggest topic in Israel and is the [02:28] elections because it's happening next [02:29] Tuesday. That's 5 days away from now. [02:32] So, it's going to be impossible not to [02:33] talk about it, but as you guys know, we [02:35] can't just talk about politics. We can't [02:36] talk about elections. We have to talk [02:38] about how the elections in Israel is [02:41] connected to what God is doing. and what [02:43] the Bible says in the land of Israel. So [02:45] obviously that's going to what's going [02:46] to happen today and uh everybody else is [02:49] looking at me going that's what we're [02:51] talking about. Okay, great. I was [02:52] wondering is that actually the biggest [02:53] thing in Israel or is it the uh the news [02:55] that's coming out of the streets of [02:57] France or is it actually the fact that [02:58] Pete Hexath came? I'm not sure what's [03:00] the biggest news but I think we should [03:01] cover it all. [03:01] >> US officials reportedly told the New [03:03] York Times that strikes on Iran will [03:05] resume after the midterm elections in [03:07] the US which is only two weeks away. [03:09] though. You know, I would think in [03:11] normal circumstances, everybody would be [03:12] like, [03:13] >> "Return to war." [03:14] >> People [03:16] tell what happened to me. I was like, [03:17] "Yes, but you should know like you bring [03:20] stuff like that up and people like [03:22] >> whatever." [03:23] >> No, but I think all Israel is is similar [03:25] to my response, right? What would you [03:26] say? [03:28] >> I'll tell my response. [03:29] >> What was your response? You didn't say [03:30] this is what's happened in my house. All [03:32] of a sudden, my wife, who's a lawyer, is [03:34] in the best mood. She's so happy. [03:36] Everything is happy. Golucky. I'm like, [03:38] why is my wife all of a sudden so happy? [03:40] And then I find out she's like, Pete Hex [03:43] is in Israel. And I'm like, what? My [03:46] wife loves a Pete Hexet. You know, the [03:48] truth is he is one of the greatest [03:51] politicians America has ever had. He is [03:53] a godly man, a warrior. He's just so [03:56] awesome. And he changed the name or [03:58] President Trump changed the name to the [04:00] Secretary of War cuz it's a war against [04:02] evil. And all [04:04] >> this is exactly the change that needs to [04:05] happen to the Israel Defense Forces, [04:07] right? [04:07] >> Like the way our enemies call us. I'm [04:09] like I actually wouldn't be I wouldn't [04:11] mind that They call it what does [04:12] Norman Finkelstein called the Israel [04:14] offensive forces. [04:16] >> Okay, that's better than the defense [04:18] forces. Like we are on the offensive [04:20] against evil and darkness in the world. [04:21] >> Well, that's actually I think what these [04:23] elections are about if we're talking [04:24] about the elections. Meaning there is [04:26] kind of the right-wing block and the [04:27] leftwing block. What in America that [04:29] means something totally different in [04:30] Israel. What does that mean? Right-wing [04:32] means no Palestinian state in the land [04:34] of Israel. And leftwing means yes, we [04:36] want to give up Judea and Samaria and [04:38] create another Hamas country and make [04:40] our borders 9 milesi wide and have an [04:41] October 7th again in the heart of the [04:43] country. That really is what it's about. [04:45] And so the details of which party or not [04:47] party, it's really much bigger than [04:48] that. It's like, wait a minute, we're [04:50] actually talking about the future of the [04:53] destiny of God's. [04:54] >> But there's not really such a left in [04:56] this country anymore. When I grew up, [04:58] when I was a kid, I remember there was [04:59] Merittz and Avoan, all these real [05:01] left-wing parties. The country doesn't [05:04] really have a real left anymore. Maybe [05:06] there's pragmatists that believe more [05:08] that we need the the love and affection [05:11] and support of the international [05:12] community. And so, but there's no real [05:14] ideological left that has a uh a real, [05:18] you know, that are have mandates in the [05:19] Knessetics. [05:20] >> I got it. Appeasers and the Patriots. [05:24] >> Oh, that's nice. [05:24] >> Is that right? That is right. That's [05:25] exactly what I would put it together. [05:27] The the left is so like it's consumed [05:30] with appeasing the world. Uh and they're [05:32] all ideas. I had to say that really [05:33] quick cuz I was going forget my two [05:35] words. [05:35] >> Well, I just want to push back to what [05:36] Ari said if that's okay because I'm a [05:39] shepherd. I live on a mountain. Ari is a [05:41] chicken farmer. He lives alone on a [05:43] mountain. [05:43] >> I have nine chickens. I'm sorry. And [05:45] he's not sure which ones are the right [05:47] chicken farmer. But the point is is that [05:50] like the Democrat team, which is the [05:52] left-wing party, is one of the largest [05:54] parties now. that's running. Ya Golan is [05:56] a hardcore left-wing guy that wants to [06:00] destroy the Jewish identity of the [06:02] country. He wants to side and have Arabs [06:04] in the coalition. He has an entire [06:06] left-wing secular agenda. And there was [06:08] a response to October 7th where if you [06:10] can even imagine such a thing, the small [06:13] fringe of the left became really tight. [06:15] They're like, "Wow, we're going to be [06:17] even more attached to secular ideology." [06:20] And there is they're obviously a [06:21] minority. [06:22] >> You just said two different things. You [06:23] said secular ideology and leftwing. [06:25] Those are two different things. The [06:26] tribes of the north, even when they [06:28] knocked down all of the high places of [06:30] the Baal, they kept the golden calves [06:33] there because the golden calves were [06:35] more of a political thing. They wanted [06:36] to not to allow the tribes of the north [06:39] to go back to Jerusalem during the high [06:41] holidays and have their hearts and minds [06:43] and souls go back to Judea and Judah and [06:46] Jerusalem and the God of Israel. So, [06:48] it's important to make a distinction [06:49] between someone that is anti-ultra [06:52] orthodox, more secularist, and actually [06:56] ideologically left-wing. I don't think [06:58] the idea he's golan is not ideologically [07:01] leftwing. He's not like Shimon Perez. [07:04] He's a pragmatist that wants Israel to [07:06] be a state of Jews and not a Jewish [07:09] state. That's what really what [07:10] >> he wants Marle like him. Real quick, [07:12] guys, we'll be back to the podcast just [07:14] a second. Luke had to run, so he asked [07:16] me to do the ad read for today. God told [07:18] Abraham that the land of Israel would [07:20] belong to his descendants forever in [07:22] everlasting possession. Genesis 17 calls [07:25] it. And that promise is why we made this [07:28] epic t-shirt. It's our new exist t-shirt [07:31] with the word exist and the map of [07:33] Israel built right into the design. [07:35] Plus, it has our Israel guys emblem on [07:37] the sleeve. It comes in true blue or [07:40] magenta. Every time someone asks you [07:42] about it, you get to tell them Israel [07:44] isn't going anywhere. It exists because [07:47] God said it would. Grab yours using the [07:50] QR code on screen, wherever it is, or [07:52] click the link in the description below. [07:54] As always, all proceeds go directly to [07:57] our volunteer work, Boots on the Ground, [07:59] here in Israel. So, grab your t-shirt [08:01] today. And now, let's get back to the [08:03] podcast. [08:04] >> Well, I don't want He wants France to [08:06] think what he's doing is is [08:08] >> Exactly. He wants to be a a respected [08:10] member of the international community [08:12] and he will do what he needs to do to [08:14] achieve that goal. [08:15] >> Yeah. [08:15] >> Which we could have Tel Aviv could look [08:17] like France if they were successful in [08:20] achieving you know that audacious goal [08:22] of being like these other nations. [08:24] >> Right. Right. Kind of a joke is actually [08:27] a Palestinian state now. [08:28] >> Becoming Yeah. In the process of in the [08:31] process. [08:31] >> Well, okay. So, I'm going to go with [08:32] what you've said because I define [08:34] rightwing and leftwing as like leftwing [08:35] wants a Palestinian state and the [08:36] rightwing doesn't want a Palestinian [08:37] state. But if you're bringing the Bible [08:39] into this conversation, then I really [08:41] want to take it to the next level. Why [08:42] are these elections? Why are they a holy [08:45] thing? Why are they a godly thing? It's [08:47] a politics elections that doesn't make [08:48] any sense. And what you notice, which is [08:50] so beautiful, is that God anointed King [08:52] David? And it King David never took the [08:55] power. He never killed Saul. He never [08:57] even after Saul died, he didn't assume [08:59] the throne. He stayed in Hebron and he [09:02] waited for the nation of Israel to [09:04] anoint him as the king of Israel. He [09:06] waited for elections. He waited for the [09:08] people to elect him as the king. Meaning [09:10] the way that a king is brought into [09:12] Israel, King David was brought in [09:15] through the nation of Israel, lifting [09:17] him up and saying, "You are our king," [09:19] asking for him to be the king. And so so [09:21] too now this democracy is kind of a [09:23] beautiful idea because whatever Israel [09:25] chooses [09:27] >> we will reap either the benefits or the [09:29] blessings or the curses and it it's [09:31] really like it's in our hands and that's [09:33] kind of a beautiful thing for all [09:34] western democracies. You elect your [09:35] leaders well now the nation is going to [09:37] pay the price. The nation is going to [09:38] pay the price for the good and for the [09:40] bad. And so that's what's happening in [09:41] Israel now. I would say these are the [09:43] most important elections ever in [09:46] Israel's history only because I would [09:47] say that every election because every [09:49] election is so important because are we [09:51] going to go to a Palestinian state now [09:52] or not? And that really is what's going [09:53] to be decided [09:54] >> and there's even deeper stuff that's [09:55] going on on the big level of things. We [09:57] were just at an event together in [09:58] Jerusalem. Uh what was that the two two [10:00] days ago or something like that with um [10:01] Betsel Moltric amazing guy and doing [10:04] great work in Israel and has done a has [10:05] a huge impact on the actual Jude and [10:08] Samaria settlement Jewish farms being [10:10] built Jewish communities being built. [10:11] >> He's he's Israel's finance minister in [10:13] the current government and he's also the [10:14] minister for settlement affairs. So like [10:17] he's used that combined position to uh [10:20] every road in Judian Mary is being [10:22] widened. So he's responsible. Um there's [10:24] now 250 farms all across Judian Mary [10:26] like he is the guy [10:27] >> holding down 50,000 acres of a 1.4 4 [10:31] million land [10:32] >> and it's it's just clarify [10:56] his left left wing left wing. Yeah, I [10:59] get the joke now. It's funny for the [11:01] audience. [11:01] >> Okay. Yeah, it was a Hebrew English mix [11:03] there. That was a little difficult. [11:04] >> You don't want me to talk much on this [11:05] show, so I got to get in when I can [11:07] comment below if you want to hear more. [11:09] Hey, listen. This is what I felt was [11:12] trying to say about Smootrich was is [11:14] that he was saying that if these [11:15] elections to to put a big emphasis on [11:17] your point that these are so incredibly [11:19] important what happens in these [11:20] elections because there's a kind of a [11:22] deep state running in Israel with the uh [11:25] Supreme Court and there's laws in place [11:27] that if a conservative right-wing [11:29] government is elected in Israel and they [11:31] can continue this process, it will [11:33] actually throw Israel ahead in actually [11:35] becoming a democratic state. There's a [11:36] big argument in Israel that is actually [11:38] not so democratic because of this entity [11:40] that that is uh ruling in Israel the uh [11:44] Supreme Court that overrules all the [11:46] democratically decided things. could [11:48] just overrule it and they could do [11:50] something else. [11:51] >> Just to explain that it's called severe [11:54] cirut means reasonability clause where [11:57] without getting into the details the [12:00] hashopet barak the head of the supreme [12:02] court sort of snuck in at one point this [12:05] legislation saying that the supreme [12:07] court whatever the knesset which is a [12:08] reflection of the nation passes that [12:10] they can just say well that's not [12:12] reasonable and then just knock it down [12:14] meaning what is the whole power of the [12:15] kesset. So he was saying at this event [12:17] that we were at that there's actually [12:18] laws in place to limit that power and [12:20] and that that if they're successful in [12:21] limiting that power that throws a head [12:24] first with the leftist government [12:25] anti-Israel kind of like [12:28] >> uh and to clarify why they have such a [12:29] monopoly Supreme Court justices control [12:32] the Supreme Court including new [12:33] justices. So like they have the monopoly [12:35] on themselves [12:37] they're not elected democratically which [12:38] is why a lot of people would say Israel [12:40] is not a true democratic nation. So [12:42] there's there's implementation happening [12:44] now that will be put in effect later on [12:46] but it can only be upheld if the the [12:48] conservative right continues their power [12:51] which basically what he was saying. So [12:53] if this election is lost to the right [12:55] which I very much so do not believe [12:57] that's going to happen. I believe that [12:58] the war that's happened in Israel is [13:00] inspired young voters 75% of the young [13:05] voters are voting right. We're talking [13:08] about ages of 18 to 24, [13:10] >> which is the only country that that I [13:12] know of, at least in the Western world, [13:14] which I don't think Israel applies in [13:15] the Western world, but there's a hint of [13:17] that, that the youth is going in that [13:20] direction compared to about 42, 43, 44, [13:23] something like that, percent of people [13:24] over 65. So, also consider this, [13:28] >> among the group of right-wing voters [13:29] from the younger generation, half a [13:31] million of them are are voting for the [13:33] very first time this year. half a [13:35] million people out of a nation of 10 [13:37] million. I don't know how many people [13:38] vote, but like obviously it's less than [13:40] that. You have that's a that's a pretty [13:42] significant percentage and the majority [13:44] of them are right-wing voters. [13:46] >> I think that would be six mandates in [13:48] the Knesset if I thought of if I did [13:50] that math correctly. [13:51] >> That's good math if you did that [13:52] correctly. But but that's a lot. like [13:54] the Israel is the probably the only [13:56] nation of the world where the the the [13:58] younger generation is going more and [14:00] more successively rightwing which is [14:02] interesting because uh I don't want to [14:04] play a video from uh Yishi but [14:07] >> Israel was founded as like a very [14:09] liberal country liberal and secular like [14:12] early late 1800s early 1900s all the [14:14] early pioneers were secular and were [14:16] very liberal [14:16] >> no not all of the early pioneers by any [14:18] means that is a narrative that people [14:20] say but it's really not true [14:22] >> majority of Do [14:24] >> you disagree with that? Was the [14:25] majority? [14:25] >> There were a majority and they were the [14:26] leadership. [14:27] >> There was the leadership, right? Okay. [14:29] There was also the Altalena where there [14:30] was like a But we don't need to get into [14:32] the Yes. Fine. [14:33] >> But Israel was was a state. [14:35] >> But I just want to say one thing [14:36] >> until the '90s, right? Like like the the [14:39] the government was run by majority [14:41] liberal uh politicians. [14:44] >> Right. Right. But I want to just add one [14:46] perspective and one dimension to this [14:48] that a lot of people don't understand, [14:49] but I don't think it's true exclusively [14:51] to Israel. It's just an extreme [14:53] manifestation of this reality that the [14:55] initial founders of the country that [14:57] were leftwing liberal, it wasn't a [14:58] political ideology. It was a religious [15:00] ideology. They were religiously [15:02] leftwing. Which is why you see a lot [15:04] there's tremendous tension and fights [15:06] between these left-wing grandparents in [15:09] their 80s who were there with the short [15:11] shorts draining the swamps and and that [15:13] sort of idea. And their children are now [15:15] like, "Open your eyes to the reality of [15:17] the situation." And they're like, "No, [15:19] we have to be a state among all states. [15:21] we have to be leftwing because it's a [15:23] religion for them. And I think when you [15:24] look at America also, it's not all that [15:26] different. People like, oh, [15:27] ideologically, politically, I'm a [15:29] Democrat. Not really. I have friends and [15:31] family in America who are their religion [15:33] is the Democratic Party. [15:35] >> That it really is. And so, it's [15:36] important to really make that [15:37] distinction. But go ahead. What were you [15:38] saying? [15:39] >> Well, I think it's interesting that [15:40] America was founded on biblical [15:43] Judeo-Christian values, right? And today [15:45] like people in America are trying to [15:47] hold the country like to keep the [15:49] country to hold on to those values [15:51] because America is being pulled away [15:53] from it. They want to make you know [15:54] being they want to pull away from those [15:55] biblical values. They want to pull the [15:57] country more left. Israel was more or [16:01] less founded on a lot of secular uh [16:05] left-wing values and like over 70 or how [16:08] old is the country now? Almost 80 years, [16:10] right? 78 years old. like it's being [16:12] pulled every year more and more right [16:14] and more and more towards [16:17] >> Torah values [16:19] values [16:20] >> and like I don't think that's happening [16:21] anywhere else in the world like what is [16:23] the precedent for that other than [16:25] prophecy I mean obviously there's [16:26] biblical prophecy that talks about [16:28] Israel being restored to what God [16:31] intended [16:32] >> I think what's happening with the war is [16:33] pretty obvious and you guys are seeing [16:34] it we're all seeing it is that when [16:36] you're challenged and Israel is [16:38] challenged to its core with the with [16:40] three years ago when the war broke out [16:42] and when you're challenged you got to [16:45] you have to like connect to something [16:46] deeper than like and so the whole Jewish [16:48] community I feel like they went deep [16:51] they went and they said what who are we [16:53] who are we as the Jewish people and then [16:55] they were like we are descendants of [16:57] Abraham Isaac and Jacob and they went [17:00] and said those people set the morality [17:02] for who we are as a people and they [17:04] connected back to their ancestral [17:06] strength that came from their found [17:07] founding and they started putting in in [17:09] in Tel Aviv they started wearing the the [17:11] tassels that seat seat on their garments [17:13] like it was stolen the Torah and they [17:15] started like keeping Shabbat and like [17:19] here's some cool stats. 27% of Israelis [17:22] increased their observance of religious [17:23] customs since October 7th. Prayer was [17:26] the most common change. 31% of Jewish [17:28] respondents and 38% of those under 25 [17:31] are reporting praying more. Right? You [17:34] know, King David says [17:37] um Hashem, God is close to the [17:38] brokenhearted. And I think you could see [17:40] why after October 7th, there were days [17:43] and weeks that went by there at the very [17:45] beginning, right after the war, when [17:46] there was a real question that every [17:48] Israeli asked themselves just on a [17:50] normative existentially, are we going to [17:53] survive this? Like we are more [17:55] vulnerable than we've ever experienced [17:57] or felt in our entire lives. Really, our [18:00] our our lives, our national lives are in [18:02] God's hands. And that's why when you [18:04] have that sort of breaking that sha that [18:07] shatters your heart and your perception [18:09] of the world and everything, that's [18:10] where God's light is able to come in. [18:12] And I think that's what happened then. [18:14] There was a breaking that happened that [18:16] is that led Hashem's light into our [18:18] hearts and our souls. And that is [18:19] bringing and it's manifesting now more [18:22] than more than ever. Jeremy's putting [18:24] together like a massive thesis over here [18:25] before before he gets into this. But I I [18:27] just want to say yesterday I was [18:29] shopping. I went out with my wife. We [18:30] got some groceries and I looked up and I [18:32] just looked up. First off, I I I walked [18:34] into the store and I looked over the [18:35] side and I saw a whole um uh like a like [18:40] a what do you call that? Like a display [18:43] of uh seat seats where people could buy [18:45] when they walk into the store. You know, [18:46] that's like at the grocery stores. [18:48] That's like the big thing there that you [18:49] buy. [18:49] >> Chaos and seats. [18:50] >> I don't think that was that way that [18:52] long ago. like people that was not that [18:54] much interest in the country to where [18:55] you know you were going out to the [18:56] checkout line and they put the things [18:57] that everybody's interested in you know [19:00] right there it used to be cigarettes and [19:01] you know lighters and things it's now [19:03] like seat seat and uh you know kas and [19:06] things like that I look up and across [19:09] the entire there's a massive the whole [19:12] front of the grocery store and I just [19:14] happened to see what was written there [19:15] in massive letters all the way across a [19:17] huge banner with picture of Jerusalem [19:22] with the words written from the Psalms. [19:23] If I forget you, oh Jerusalem, let my [19:25] right hand forget its skill. [19:27] >> We're talking Rammy, right? [19:28] >> We're talking about the largest biggest [19:30] supermarket chain in Israel. [19:32] >> It's massive. Like, what is going on in [19:34] this country? [19:35] >> Yeah. Well, [19:36] >> also, you know, every Ramy Lebby has a [19:38] synagogue in the back, too. Yeah. Yeah. [19:40] The synagogue. If you if you got to pray [19:42] before you countries, you could run to [19:44] the back and pray, you know, like, okay. [19:46] Okay. [19:47] >> I'll tell you my my thoughts about this [19:48] cuz I now have real stats. Meaning, [19:50] okay, so why are these elections so [19:53] important? Because people can listen. [19:55] You're like, maybe that was just one [19:56] supermarket. Maybe that's just one store [19:58] that's selling seat. Maybe that's one [20:00] thing. The elections will reflect where [20:02] the nation is at. That's just the truth. [20:04] And I'll tell you what impressed me the [20:06] most about our night together. [20:08] >> Mhm. [20:08] >> The falafel. The falafel was so [20:11] delicious. [20:12] >> I'm studying. Tell us that. [20:14] >> I just want you guys need to know that [20:16] we hang out also outside the studio, but [20:19] no. Those are the envied moments. If [20:21] anybody ever [20:22] >> I have never met Betalo Smootri before I [20:25] He was just a face on a billboard. He [20:27] was the head of a party. He was an idea [20:28] to me. Religious to our volunteers here [20:30] before your volunteers met him and I [20:32] never met him. [20:33] >> I can't believe that [20:33] >> I was so impressed with him. Just his [20:36] honesty, his integrity, his humility. He [20:39] was just such a downto-earth guy. [20:41] Competent, intelligent, like something [20:43] that I would never say about any other [20:45] politician practically in Israel. just [20:48] such an awesome guy and okay, Isai Flea [20:51] is the best of the best. I'm just going [20:53] to say that I was so impressed with who [20:57] he was as a human being and I'm like, [20:58] "Wow, that's just awesome." Now, [21:00] everyone knows that he's done a [21:01] revolution in Judea and Samaria. That's [21:02] undeniable. [21:03] >> But what's also just [21:05] >> also the finance minister, [21:06] >> that's what I wanted to talk about. He [21:08] is the minister of finance. The hardest [21:10] job that could have been during a [21:12] three-year war where all of the men are [21:14] in Milo, they're not going to work. you [21:16] would expect our economy to have [21:17] collapsed. Just look at these stats that [21:19] Chad GPT brought. [21:20] >> Before you give the stats, I just want [21:22] to say what the finance minister is [21:23] almost like. It's like when King David [21:26] sent um who who to the front of the [21:28] battle, the husband of Bach or the [21:30] Hittites. [21:31] >> Okay. It's like that is what making him [21:33] the fin in this country. If you're made [21:34] the finance minister, you're if you're [21:36] going to be successful, you're going to [21:38] make a lot of people with a lot of power [21:40] really angry. It's like being sent to [21:41] the front lines. And he did it. And he [21:43] did it really well. Go ahead. I want to [21:45] say that, but I mean that's if you want [21:47] to kill orav the Hitittite. I actually [21:49] think that BB chose Smootrich because he [21:53] said only Smootrich can do it. [21:55] >> Only he's the one that's really going to [21:57] be able to do it. And look what he did [21:58] in this impossible economy. So there's [22:01] only 3% unemployment in Israel now. 3%. [22:04] That's not [22:05] >> global rates on that. I mean like [22:06] American rates even are like [22:08] >> So now much higher than that I would [22:10] think. [22:10] >> There was an 8.2 to high-tech sector [22:13] growth in 2025. [22:15] Now, why? This is his brilliance. We are [22:19] the number one country in the world that [22:23] takes our R&D and spends it. May we take [22:26] our GDP and we invest it in Israel's [22:29] economy. He chose to do that. Israel [22:31] invests 6.8% of our GDP into Israel's [22:35] high-tech sector in order to create new [22:36] innovation and new things. America only [22:38] does 3%. Germany only does 2%. Bitzalos [22:42] smooches was smart enough to invest in [22:44] that sector while Israel's being [22:46] attacked on all these fronts. He was [22:48] able to fund the military pump the [22:50] scitech environment and now Israel's [22:52] market is one of the strongest in the [22:53] world incredible market has been done [22:56] like over 20%. By the way, US [22:59] unemployment is 4.2 [23:00] >> 4.2% America. I mean that's [23:02] unbelievable. So what I used to like to [23:03] say I really used to like to say this [23:05] that's a miracle of God because it is a [23:07] miracle of God. It is a miracle of God [23:08] that Israel's economy is stronger than [23:11] all these other economies. That the [23:12] shekele is so strong. All of these [23:14] things are a miracle. Less unemployment [23:16] than the United States of America, the [23:18] land of the free. But really, Betalo [23:21] Smotidge was the finance minister that [23:23] made all the strategic decisions, funded [23:25] the things in the right places at the [23:27] right times, and did the impossible. [23:29] Where Oran Hitai should have been [23:30] slaughtered, he actually came out being [23:32] a hero of Israel. And why isn't he [23:35] recognized? Why isn't he the prime [23:36] minister? He should be the prime [23:38] minister. Why is he not? Because he's [23:39] not really a good politician. He just [23:41] kind of does things quietly. But that's [23:43] how he gets things done because he does [23:45] it quietly. Imagine how long it took him [23:47] to build 200 farms in Judea and Samaria. [23:49] That was 3 years of work where he just [23:51] did it quietly. Cuz you announce it, [23:53] you'll get a lot of political points, [23:54] but then everyone's going to stop you. [23:56] The international community will stop [23:57] you. He was quietly. And then all of a [23:59] sudden in one year, 200 farms, new [24:02] communities that took representing [24:03] 250,000 acres. He is just a hero. And so [24:07] I just I I I really I if my wife has a [24:10] crush on Pete Hex, I have a crush on [24:12] Smoke. I just really I just felt like he [24:15] was just a man of integrity and [24:16] goodness. Anyway, that's my thoughts. [24:18] Those are my words. [24:20] >> I'm sorry. Are you left? Okay. I just [24:23] don't want to get too political, but I [24:25] got to the opposite. It's hard for me to [24:28] identify with him because I'm a man that [24:30] says much and does little [24:32] >> and he's a man. It's just little does. [24:35] So, it's just we come from different [24:37] places. [24:40] How about we play uh since you gave a [24:42] plug for um Smidge now? We should give a [24:46] plug to our friend. [24:47] >> By the way, we're not giving plugs for [24:48] anybody just to be clear. [24:49] >> We're not giving plugs for anyone. [24:52] Yeah, [24:53] >> we can't vote for just letting you know [24:54] what's happening in Israel so you can be [24:56] aware of what's uh you know where people [24:58] stand and what's going on and and so [24:59] that you can uh you know vote for God. [25:02] Yeah. [25:04] Most people listening are not even in [25:06] Israel anyway. So [25:07] >> no just on the topic of like Israel how [25:09] Israel started as a secular nation and [25:11] and and like a lot of that is hard for [25:12] so many people to swallow. even Israelis [25:15] like if we're talking about the ultra [25:16] orth orthodox like that that's a [25:18] question and now shifting to the right [25:20] and nissim black um do a really great [25:24] job answering that so let's watch this [25:26] you're looking at the state of jewelry [25:28] of the Zionist movement at the beginning [25:30] and foundation of the state would be [25:32] very unheard of for a religious Jew in [25:34] Israel to say that they look up to Herzo [25:36] or Bengurian or any of these guys so [25:38] crack that open for me [25:39] >> okay but if we're cracking this we're [25:40] cracking this wide open cracking it wide [25:42] crack wide open this is a I mean, it's a [25:44] major issue. [25:45] >> It's a major issue. I've thought a lot [25:46] about it. The return of the Jewish [25:48] people to the land of Israel is a great [25:50] and challenging huge massive event. It's [25:53] a challenge to Muslims. It's a challenge [25:55] to Christians. [25:56] >> Yeah. [25:56] >> And it's of course a challenge to [25:57] secularists, materialists, and it's a [25:59] challenge to all Jews in different ways. [26:01] God created generations that rebred into [26:06] our national consciousness the ability [26:09] to run a state, military, language, [26:12] economy, etc., farming. That was their [26:13] initial role. Ravkuk was one of the [26:15] people that foresaw that this secular [26:18] state was going to become a Jewish [26:19] state. It's a little bit like raising a [26:21] baby. The baby at first is not filled [26:22] with moral truths and great choices. The [26:25] beginning is being born. It forms. The [26:27] body is formed and then the spirit is [26:29] going to come in. And that's what we're [26:30] living in. We're living in a time we see [26:31] it. Rafuk's formula has been proven to [26:33] be true. That Yiddish kite and Jewish [26:35] consciousness, Jewish identity is [26:37] flowing back in to the state of Israel. [26:40] You see it. It's everywhere. One of you [26:42] guys needs to explain what Yedishkite is [26:44] to our audience. [26:45] >> It's like Judaism. It's like the heart [26:46] of Judaism. It was on Judaism to be like [26:48] that spiritual Jewish thing to be happen [26:50] in the world. It's like the Yiddish word [26:51] for Judaism. [26:52] >> So, here's a question for you guys. Um [26:54] because also at this event that we were [26:55] at, they uh Betsmo Church in Ohal, who's [26:59] also just a really great guy and good [27:00] friend of ours who's in the current [27:02] Knesset. Uh they brought up a lot of [27:04] problems. problems like, you know, uh, [27:07] IDF soldiers still getting kicked out of [27:09] the army like permanently for wearing [27:11] the [27:11] >> Mashiach Messiah patch, [27:13] >> which I literally leaned over to Ari and [27:14] said that, you know, that's your fault. [27:16] >> Well, I hope the patch come from our [27:19] store. I hope. [27:20] >> No, but the irony is that, you know, out [27:21] at the farm we have, you know, patrols [27:23] and troops coming. We constantly are [27:25] inviting them into our house at our [27:26] table. You wouldn't believe the patches [27:29] that every soldier has of absolutely [27:32] everything. And um not a word, not a [27:35] word, but the Messiah patch. It's very [27:38] similar to the reaction that King Saul [27:40] would have if someone in his army had a [27:42] David uh David, we love David patch. [27:45] It's exactly what it is that [27:47] >> Yeah. Give examples of other patches [27:49] that are on on people's units. Like it's [27:51] just funny stuff, right? [27:53] >> Funny or like their friends or like [27:55] Hamas, watch your back. We're coming for [27:56] you. Like whatever whatever it is, you [27:59] know. [27:59] >> So another I think it was Ael brought up [28:02] something. He was saying that the IDF uh [28:04] what is it the code of arms or something [28:06] like the [28:08] >> the con the code of conduct [28:11] >> code of conduct for the IDF. Uh and also [28:13] IDF stands for Israel defense forces but [28:15] he was saying that he said something [28:18] like it it's it goes against every law [28:21] and policy in the IDF to be victorious. [28:23] He said like victory goes against the [28:26] the core of who the ID [28:27] >> I'll tell you what he said. He said that [28:29] the man who was responsible for writing [28:31] the code of conduct in the IDF, well, [28:33] that's kind of what we live by in the [28:35] army. I mean, Ari and I, we like had [28:36] that carried with us in our pocket like [28:38] and it's pretty good. But the man who [28:40] wrote it said victory is an immoral act [28:44] in the idea. So, they're like their [28:46] entire mindset is like twisted. [28:47] >> There's something called [28:49] Taratk, the the purity of the weapon. [28:52] And you know when you're taught when [28:54] you're the first to access someone's [28:56] mind on a certain issue you have a way [28:58] to sear that as truth because you're [29:01] first there to the brain to the mind. So [29:04] that was tatishka the purity of but what [29:07] is the purity that if there's a [29:09] terrorist that is somewhat neutralized [29:11] then you cannot use your gun it would be [29:13] immoral to use your you know and it [29:15] created this sort of psychopathy where [29:18] soldiers that have their own lives in [29:20] danger don't use their weapons to defend [29:22] themselves and their fellow Jews which [29:24] is the job of a military in order to do [29:26] that meaning there there was a an [29:29] ideology that was I I think very [29:31] mistaken and somewhat perverse in the [29:34] foundation of the country the for the [29:36] army that is now being liberated and [29:39] we're open our eyes to what that doesn't [29:40] make any sense. [29:41] >> So the question is you have these [29:43] problems you have the Supreme Court [29:45] who's fighting to hold their uh dictator [29:48] dictatorial power or whatever you know [29:50] like that's like the only one of the [29:51] main parts of the country that's not a [29:52] dem uh democracy still but you have the [29:56] next generation half million a half a [29:58] million young people voting for the [29:59] first time majority of them rightwing. [30:02] as we as Israel shifts more towards God [30:05] and more towards right-wing values, [30:07] there's also going to be a a more a [30:09] stronger and stronger pull between the [30:11] old guard, right? And and we'll see what [30:13] happens in the elections, right? But, uh [30:16] question is like what what is this going [30:19] to look like? You know, how how strong [30:21] is this pull in the nation? Like is it [30:23] going to happen in this election? Is it [30:25] going to take a few more years? Like [30:28] >> how do you work with King David, you [30:29] know, is a question, too. I I don't know [30:31] if this actually ruled in Hebron for 7 [30:33] years, right, before he moved to [30:34] Jerusalem. So, [30:35] >> and he was 10 years just hiding in the [30:37] wilderness away from Saul even though he [30:38] was already anointed. It's like a slow [30:40] process and I I wouldn't surprise me if [30:43] it doesn't just happen like we all want [30:44] Messiah to come and with the seven like [30:46] everyone has their own vision, but it [30:48] really could happen very naturally like [30:49] the nation of Israel is growing and the [30:51] nation of Israel is going to get younger [30:52] and those younger are going to get older [30:53] and the older are going to move and [30:54] we're just going to be a new generation. [30:55] I don't it's like the sunrise. [30:57] Interesting. That was like the [30:58] underlying theme of what everything [31:00] Smoke Church said the other night. He [31:01] was just telling everyone like every [31:03] good thing takes time. If you want it [31:05] now, then you're you're voting for the [31:07] wrong guy. And and also, sorry, go [31:09] ahead. Go for it. [31:10] >> He was saying something that really [31:11] spoke to me that people were asking him [31:13] questions and he said it really comes [31:15] down to immune immune. If you believe in [31:19] a certain person, he's like, if you [31:20] trust me, then you're going to have to [31:22] trust me. He said there were elements [31:24] there were times over the past number of [31:25] years where he made a move like [31:28] supporting the hostage exchange which [31:30] everyone was like what is selling out [31:33] but he's like I wasn't able to even tell [31:35] my wife that if the this exchange needed [31:38] to happen in order for the attack to [31:40] happen on Iran and he knew inside he's [31:42] like either you trust me or you don't. [31:44] I'm not here to try to do short-term [31:47] political wins, you know, and and so [31:49] that really spoke to me like there's [31:50] there has to be a certain trust that we [31:52] have in in our leadership where if they [31:55] go this way or that way, that doesn't [31:56] make sense to us necessarily on an [31:58] immediate level. We have to say, okay, [31:59] well, maybe there's something going on. [32:01] But also, it's worth mentioning Benvir. [32:03] We've been talking about Smudrich. [32:05] Benvir is I I don't believe in saying, [32:08] well, Smudri is great, so Benv Ben is [32:10] also an incredible incredible leader. He [32:13] really is. He has he puts his life on [32:15] the line every single day. He says [32:18] things that infuriate and enrage the [32:20] international community. And uh Israelis [32:23] some Israelis love that. Others are [32:24] saying it's because of you that the [32:26] international community hates us. But [32:28] he's actually made the prisons in a real [32:31] way. He's transformed the prisons of [32:32] Israel from being uh you know a [32:34] five-star hotel for Hamas soldiers where [32:37] they're running the show to now they're [32:39] actually suffering which they should do [32:40] in a prison where there we're not going [32:42] to do pro bono brain surgery on yakya [32:45] sinir in order and send him back to to [32:48] lead October 7th. He's gotten hundreds [32:51] of thousands of Israeli Jews in Israel [32:53] have guns to protect themselves and each [32:55] other. The response time to terrorist [32:57] attacks has been decreased because of [32:59] what he's done. He's also a a great [33:01] leader. He's when people say I want to [33:03] vote bang for your ass much I don't feel [33:05] compelled to say no you should vote this [33:07] or that. [33:07] >> I really agree with what you're saying [33:09] and I want people to understand what [33:11] Ari's talking about because you said it [33:12] so quickly. Ya Sinoir was the head of [33:15] the kamas the architect and the leader [33:18] of October 7th the kamas the war against [33:20] Israel the rape the pillaging. He had it [33:22] all planned out. He wanted it to be [33:24] gruesome. He wanted it the tunnels. He [33:26] planned the whole thing. He was an [33:28] Israeli prisoner and Israel's prison [33:30] system not only treated him beautifully. [33:34] Kiwi gave him surgery and saved his life [33:37] from a brain tumor. sent him back to Aza [33:40] that then created October 7th anytime [33:42] Benver is like what on earth are this [33:45] country doing [33:48] and to that it's just so I totally agree [33:50] with that he has done a remarkable job [33:52] >> also on an advocacy level it's really [33:53] important yes said it very well he said [33:56] he's not looking towards the west he's [33:58] looking towards the east and I feel like [34:00] his advocacy is also towards the [34:02] terrorists themselves every other [34:04] Israeli wants to say how overwhelmingly [34:07] humane we are. And then the terrorists [34:09] are like, "There's literally no cost if [34:10] I commit a terrorist attack." And it's [34:12] and then my family will be paid by the [34:14] Palestinian Authority. I'll get a PhD in [34:17] an Israeli prison. And he's saying, "No, [34:19] he's cutting down incentives for [34:21] terrorists to commit terrorist attacks." [34:24] Like he's a great candidate. Also, [34:26] >> it's interesting because most Israelis [34:27] are so what is France going to say? What [34:30] is Europe going to think of us? And he's [34:31] like, what are the enemy going to think [34:33] of us? He's really thinking about them [34:35] and saying like, I want them to be [34:36] afraid of us. I want to be like a strong [34:38] leader and so I can't [34:40] >> Yeah. I think a lot of European a lot of [34:42] Europeans people in France where Paris [34:44] is going down in flames a lot of [34:46] Parisians are saying I wish we had a Ben [34:48] here in Paris right now. Of course I do. [34:50] I have a friend who said he's going to [34:51] vote uh Golan just to help. He's like [34:54] out here. No he's just you know we're [34:56] throwing it in for everybody right now. [34:58] He's saying that uh [35:00] a little bit interesting perspective, [35:02] but he's like, "No, I'm voting him [35:03] because you know what? When Biden was in [35:05] the US, the pro-Israel community really [35:07] got engaged and we had a lot of really [35:09] positive things happen." And then he's [35:11] like, you know, when the when Trump gets [35:13] in, everybody just kind of like, oh [35:14] yeah, we're winning now. And then look, [35:15] now we're in, you know, we're like, so [35:17] anyway, the interesting prof one thing I [35:19] learned the other night was that I [35:20] thought was fascinating, [35:23] the draft law. That was crazy to me. The [35:27] whole draft of the herded community is [35:30] really a liable in a sense of that I [35:32] that was kind of exposed to me when I [35:34] realized yes of course you see these [35:36] things but it's not everyone [35:39] >> and the whole community that is supposed [35:41] to be yeah that's supposed to be drafted [35:43] >> well like this is like the number one [35:44] issue in the Israeli [35:46] number is like is is is getting in a [35:49] government that will force the [35:50] ultraorththodox community in Israel to [35:53] be enlisted in the IDF which [35:55] historically has not happened. Uh, and [35:57] every time they try to pass some kind of [35:58] legislation or law, there's like mass [36:00] protests with like tens of thousands of [36:02] people in the streets, right? [36:03] >> Because more or less the ultra orthodox [36:05] community does not want to serve in the [36:07] IDF and a lot of them also don't work. [36:10] Uh, so they they like live off welfare [36:12] and we're talking I think one and a half [36:13] million people in Israel. So they [36:15] represent a big percentage of of Israel. [36:17] But here's the fun thing was that [36:20] there's like 18,000 of these people that [36:23] are ready to be in the military. They're [36:26] in already and and I'm like, [36:28] >> DID ANYBODY know that? Like these people [36:31] are not they're being demiling. [36:37] The shift was crazy. [36:38] >> But the point was even more than that. [36:40] Meaning there are 18,000 reservists that [36:43] are ultra orthodox from the [36:45] ultraorththodox unit and only 8,000 were [36:47] called up for reserve duty. Right? [36:49] >> So it's like wait a minute if we really [36:51] need all so many people why are they not [36:53] everyone cuz everyone's saying the IDF [36:55] is like short like 10 to 12,000 soldiers [36:58] right now. So this is what they're [37:00] making the issue but they saying they're [37:02] here. So they're already in the [37:04] military. [37:05] >> That's why politics in Israel is a [37:06] little bit ugly and everyone's using [37:07] this against them. and everyone's trying [37:08] to get everyone's vote, but I mean the [37:12] community, you can't deny the fact that [37:15] there's something that's wrong in this [37:17] reality that there is a huge sector of [37:19] Israel that are not serving with Israel. [37:21] That bothers me. That bothers almost [37:22] everyone. It bothers the country. What's [37:24] going on here? [37:25] >> It's it's enraging and infuriating many [37:27] levels. [37:28] >> What Smootrich said, which I thought was [37:30] brilliant. It's like, listen, if you [37:31] trust me, I am working to enlist the [37:34] kharedim into the army. The same way [37:37] that you didn't hear anything about [37:38] Judea and Samaria for three years. And [37:39] all of a sudden, you saw results in the [37:42] fourth year. I'm working on it. I'm just [37:44] doing it quietly and intelligently. And [37:46] if you trust me, I am doing what needs [37:48] to be done. But I'm doing it. I'm doing [37:50] it with love. I'm doing it with a do [37:53] with unity. I'm not forcing their arms [37:55] because that'll just make fights. I'm [37:56] doing it intelligently. And so if you [37:58] want them to go on, trust me. And I [38:00] >> he also said that there was a long hour [38:02] and two hour interview that he had with [38:04] Navon and that we should go and listen. [38:06] >> Yeah, but no one's going to listen to [38:07] that. No one in that evening I don't [38:09] think walked home and then listen to [38:10] that. [38:10] >> Yeah, that's like saying you want to [38:11] hear this instead of making the argument [38:13] yourself read a book. But the fact is is [38:15] that again I think the Israeli you know [38:17] the Israelis are um are affected by the [38:20] leftist media just as much as the [38:22] Western world. I mean they're part of [38:24] the Western world. They're being fed the [38:25] same thing that you go to Tel Aviv and [38:26] they really think that there's violent [38:28] settlers causing havoc in Judea and [38:29] Samaria. Is that a big problem? It's not [38:32] even it's a created problem by the media [38:35] that should never ever have been in the [38:38] it's a tool in the hands of the ones [38:41] that are trying to to create a narrative [38:44] that makes the world hate. [38:45] >> You're saying that orthodox tension is a [38:48] being exploited in a way that is not [38:52] true. what is but really underlying real [38:55] issue and people say the same thing [38:57] about the there is an underlying thing [38:59] of course there is [39:01] >> to the biggest problem that we're making [39:03] it it's if there's a solution [39:06] >> then I would say no [39:07] >> it's not as big as a problem what [39:09] they're making it [39:10] >> it's it's a very very big problem in the [39:12] country and if you don't look at our [39:13] enemies as a real existential threat and [39:15] you can understand that they can turn [39:17] their swords on each other when Hashem [39:19] just says the word and they're not [39:21] really truly a threat threat to us. Then [39:23] we look inside and it's a it's a really [39:25] deep issue that needs to be handled with [39:27] sensitivity. I was at the home of a very [39:29] dear I consider him one of my greatest [39:31] rebies in the world. I won't say his [39:32] name, but as we were talking throughout [39:35] our hour together, seven or eight times, [39:37] knock on the door, he opens up an [39:39] ultraorththodox Jew standing there [39:41] collecting money and he goes and he [39:43] takes money, he gives it to him. He [39:44] says, "Can I give you something to eat, [39:45] something to drink?" And I said, "Does [39:46] this bother you?" And he says, "It [39:48] enrages me. It enrages me." I'm like, [39:51] but you're still giving him all of the [39:52] you're giving them money and love and [39:54] respect. He's like, in the end of the [39:55] day, they have to stand in front of [39:57] their family, put food on the table, and [39:59] the ideology that has been shoved down [40:02] their throats is so emasculating that [40:04] it's you can't blame them as individuals [40:07] when this this a greater movement that [40:10] is exporting the exile Judaism. And you [40:14] know, it's sometimes it's hard to sift [40:16] out what's real and what's not. And and [40:18] so they're bringing they're so afraid of [40:19] compromising on the word of God that [40:21] they have imported these exile ideas of [40:25] not fighting and not working and not to [40:29] where it doesn't apply. So that's it's [40:31] important to understand the foundations [40:32] of what's happening and and see that [40:34] there is a party called [40:36] yeah [40:36] >> that it's a political party that's [40:38] entire platform is who have established [40:41] this party in order to get them more [40:42] involved in the workforce and the [40:44] military. I think it's a matter of time. [40:45] >> And I think the half a million young [40:47] people that are moving to the right has [40:49] to include the ultraorththodox. [40:51] >> When those boys come home with enforce [40:55] slung over their shoulders and they [40:56] fought the wars of Israel, do you not [40:58] think their neighbor is going to be [40:59] like, [41:00] >> "That guy is a cool guy. That guy's deep [41:03] down in their heart." [41:04] >> Deep down their heart, they cannot look [41:05] at their neighbor that made the decision [41:07] to stand with this nation and fight the [41:08] war of this nation [41:09] >> because he has the he looks the same. [41:12] Yeah. [41:12] >> Yeah. So I I believe it's an internal [41:14] thing that has to be fixed just like you [41:16] know the the age-old problem the [41:18] Israelis fall into is that you guys are [41:19] so moral and so high in in their in your [41:22] in your daily lives and the expectations [41:24] of your neighbor that you say, "Oh yeah, [41:26] we really do have a violent settler [41:28] problem because there's a couple youth [41:29] that are going out and throwing rocks at [41:30] people and you fail to realize that [41:32] you're 72% more likely." When you're [41:35] speaking to the international world, [41:37] your problems are very low. You're 72% [41:40] more likely to be a victim of crime in [41:42] any city in America than you are by a [41:45] Jew in Judea. Who are the perpetrators [41:47] of violence in and around Judea and [41:49] Samaria? It's not the Jews. It's the [41:52] Muslim radical Islamist in any Arab town [41:56] you go in. Your chances of being a [41:58] victim of of of some sort of terrorism [42:01] shoots out the roof. And since I'm [42:02] talking about that, I'm talking about [42:03] religious parties. We should play that [42:04] video of the uh the what's the party [42:09] from uh winter's party who they drove [42:11] into Mosiah where the deputy mayor of [42:15] Jerusalem who's running in in the AMA [42:17] party [42:18] >> drove into tour Messiah which is [42:23] >> and they were like rocks through their [42:26] windows almost killed one of them like [42:28] it was sitting right there if they [42:30] there's a video where they ducked and a [42:32] rock about try to [42:34] David find that um [42:36] >> they ducked and the rock came like rock [42:38] like this big cameos. [42:59] >> So this video I think it's just it's [43:00] it's important. And I think what why [43:02] that this video is so important is is [43:03] that the world and the media, they all [43:06] talk about how, oh, you know, these [43:08] settlers are the real perpetrators of [43:10] violence. That is such a farce. The [43:13] settlers are not the perpetrators of [43:15] violence in Judea and Samaria. It's [43:17] radical Islamist. I don't know if [43:18] anybody wake up and look out the window, [43:20] but they're not waving Israeli flags in [43:21] France while they're busting out and [43:23] burning down the city. [43:24] >> Well, what's happening? [43:25] >> They're waving Palestinian flags. [43:27] Palestinian flags, the same one they [43:28] have wrapped around their head while [43:29] they're out here harvesting olives with [43:32] the French that have come over to help [43:33] them. [43:34] >> Yeah, it's literally digging their own [43:36] graves over there. [43:37] >> I Yeah, go ahead. [43:38] >> Well, well, I wanted to say that [43:39] obviously all of these issues that are [43:41] sort of polarizing are coming to the [43:43] surface now as the elections. Oh, you're [43:44] right. When you're a you're a violent [43:46] settler, you're supporting the like [43:48] everything is kind of like elections are [43:50] so bad in this system cuz it really [43:52] forces us to make these divisions cuz [43:54] everyone's fighting for their own votes. [43:56] But I want to change the subject [43:57] entirely with your all permission. Is [43:58] that okay? [43:59] >> Yes, sir. You may. [44:00] >> Excellent. I was invited to speak at the [44:03] Kabad World Center, Mayanote Yeshiva, [44:06] this brand new beautiful building in [44:09] Jerusalem last night and I was on my way [44:12] and I'm driving through the this what's [44:14] now a highway from our farm to [44:16] Jerusalem. And the same is happening in [44:18] Samaria. I mean, the roads are being [44:20] lighways. [44:21] And I'm looking at this mountain that [44:24] has been literally just erased. They've [44:27] just shaved off the entire top of a [44:30] mountain with tractors and they've like [44:32] made these huge roads cuz I remember [44:35] going to high school in Ephra and we [44:37] would go through Bethlehem, these windy [44:40] roads up and down the mountains, through [44:42] the mountains. [44:43] >> And I'm like, "Oh my goodness, look at [44:45] what's happening here." And now listen [44:47] to this. This is so awesome. This is [44:50] Isaiah chapter 40. And I I mean, how [44:53] could Isaiah even know this? He didn't [44:57] have a tractor. Prepare the messila, the [45:01] way to the Lord. The messila in Hebrew [45:03] in modern Hebrew is literally a train [45:05] track. It's like a straight road. That's [45:07] like a highway, but it's not. They [45:09] didn't have the word, but prepare the [45:10] road. [45:12] >> Make the straight in the desert a way [45:15] for our Lord. Every valley shall be [45:18] lifted up and every mountain shall be [45:21] made low and the crooked shall be made [45:24] straight and the rough places plain. And [45:27] I'm like, the mountains are being made [45:30] low and they're filling in the valleys [45:32] to make a straight road. That's [45:34] literally the vision that Isaiah had as [45:36] I'm driving to Jerusalem last night to [45:38] this world center. I'm like, I cannot. [45:40] That's what's happening right now. So, I [45:42] just want no one to get lost in these [45:44] elections. the right wing, the left [45:46] wing, this party, that party. The [45:48] destiny of the Bible is unfolding in [45:51] Israel in a way that I for the first [45:53] time saw in a new way as I'm driving on [45:55] the roads in Judea and Samaria. And [45:57] Judea and Samaria are very mountainy. [45:59] And now they're not so mountainy [46:00] anymore. They cut through the mountains [46:02] because the mountains had been made low [46:03] to make these highways to the Lord. It's [46:05] unbelievable. I've never thought about [46:07] that like that before. But really that [46:10] is the exact route that they would have [46:11] been taking from the south from like [46:13] Hebron area up to Jerusalem. [46:16] >> It though is the route that they're [46:17] going to take from Samaria to Jerusalem [46:18] and Judea to Jerusalem also. Now they've [46:20] made the highway. They made the messila [46:22] and the mountains have been cut down and [46:24] made low. [46:24] >> Can you imagine being a uh you know an [46:26] Israelite back in those days a prophecy [46:28] like this would be like when you're [46:30] climbing that mountain and you're going [46:31] down that valley and you're making your [46:32] way to Jerusalem on that donkey. You'd [46:34] be like, "Wow, one day, [46:36] >> one day when there's a house of prayer [46:38] and the way is going to be straight, [46:40] >> a highway." [46:42] Like there actually are literally there [46:44] are English translations in old English [46:46] translations that call it a highway. [46:48] There I mean it miss says the highway [46:51] and it's like how could Isaiah know what [46:53] a highway is? I mean the whole thing is [46:55] so unbelievable that we imagine the [46:58] prophets of being like oh the desert [47:00] will blossom like a rose and then you [47:01] come to the Arugote farm and you're like [47:03] oh the desert is a garden of Eden like [47:06] oasis that was Ari always calls like the [47:08] Arugo goat farm it's blossoming like the [47:10] lily in the desert and it's like oh that [47:12] wasn't a parable that wasn't just poetic [47:14] language poetic language is the reality [47:17] of prophecy in Israel and that is [47:19] unbelievable [47:19] >> that is unbelievable that gives me like [47:21] a much better perspective of this [47:22] incredible track of highway that's being [47:25] put in right now. [47:26] >> Exactly. [47:26] >> All the way down the biblical highway [47:28] which is literally uh south in Judea [47:32] through Jerusalem straight to Samaria. [47:34] Like this the biblical route is now [47:36] being one. [47:38] >> I got to tell you this prophecy he is [47:40] going to flip out. [47:42] >> Well was a huge part of it. [47:43] >> He is like he was the this was his [47:45] brainchild. He gets all the credit. He [47:47] gets in my opinion. I know that there [47:48] was like the ambassador to from America [47:50] Israel. He took the credit and everyone [47:52] took movies and everyone like but it was [47:54] really I think is original vision is [47:56] like wow we should make a highway like [47:58] Texas and make the biblical highway. [48:01] >> I mean come on we get we get a little [48:02] bit of credit [48:04] been doing this a long time but you know [48:05] you get all the credit for but imagine [48:08] that did you I in my life never thought [48:10] Isaiah chapter 40 that we're going to [48:12] make a highway in the mountains. It's [48:14] unbelievable. [48:14] >> Yeah. You know, our our good friend [48:16] Julie Cerrone, she sent me, she learns [48:19] every day different parts of the Bible [48:20] and the Psalms, and she said, I I just [48:22] read the Psalm, and it's what's [48:23] happening with you guys. Look what God [48:25] is doing through you. And it said, it [48:27] was in Psalm 69, for God will deliver [48:29] Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. [48:31] They shall live there and inherit it. [48:33] And she's like, that is what God is [48:35] doing through you. Look how God is using [48:37] you for redemption. And then I read the [48:38] next verse. And the descendants of his [48:40] servants, [48:43] and the descendants of his servants [48:44] shall inherit it, and those who love his [48:46] name shall dwell there. [48:48] >> The those who love his name. If that's [48:51] not [48:52] >> you, if that's not Julie, if that's not [48:55] these from people from the nations who [48:57] forget titles and names. I'm always [48:59] like, what should we call them? And we [49:00] had a whole show about Noah Hides. And [49:02] it should be they should be called those [49:04] who love his name. [49:05] >> Wow. [49:05] >> Those who love his name. And it's like, [49:07] wow. Right there. She nomination is [49:10] mine. [49:10] >> No. And I was looking at her. Well, [49:12] >> I want No, I actually promised a a [49:14] friend of mine who asked me this [49:16] question. I'm like, you know what? I [49:17] need to ask Josh and Luke cuz I don't [49:18] know the answer. So, they're saying, [49:19] >> "Oh, no." And you're going to ask [49:21] everybody, "Is that okay? I should have [49:22] given you guys a heads up. Just answer [49:24] from your heart." So, this is a person [49:26] that was reading the Torah, the Bible, [49:29] and he's like, "Why am I doing Shabbat [49:30] on Sunday? I really want to just follow [49:33] the Ten Commandments. I'm going to keep [49:34] Shabbat." [49:34] >> Sounds like a question for a rabbi. [49:36] >> Yeah. Well, but then they said, "But I'm [49:38] still a Christian." But I'm not a [49:40] Christian cuz Christians go to church on [49:41] Sunday. Uh-oh. What am I now? And so [49:44] they were asking me, Jenny, what do I [49:46] call myself now? Because as far as I [49:49] know, like, I don't know what to say. [49:50] And I'm like, I don't know what to say [49:52] either. I don't know. [49:53] >> I've been in here in Israel for 20 [49:55] years. I'll give you a very Jewish [49:56] answer, right? [49:57] >> Both are fantastic. And I think that's [49:59] what I don't know what to say. [50:01] >> Both what? [50:01] >> Both. Do what you're like. The rabbis [50:04] here always say, "Listen, read the [50:06] Bible. You're not Jewish. Try to glean [50:10] all that you can within the space that [50:12] you are." And that and you know, for [50:14] Christians a lot of times we're like, [50:16] "No, there's one truth and there is no [50:18] other truth." But for a Jewish person [50:20] and a rabbi that you would ask this [50:22] question to like yourselves, you guys [50:23] also would be like, [50:24] >> "No, you need to apply this to your life [50:26] where you're at today and what you can [50:29] actually live. Don't try to do something [50:30] that somebody else needs to do because [50:32] where are you at on your journey? a [50:33] reason to fulfill that place that God [50:35] >> there's a reason in our meditation [50:36] called the Amida we say Eloh Abraham [50:38] Eloh [50:40] the God of Abraham the God of Isaac the [50:42] God of Jacob why doesn't it say the God [50:43] of Abraham Isaac and Jacob because each [50:45] one of them had their own relationship [50:47] with him because they were different and [50:49] so God relates to them differently and [50:51] so that's you know Nissim Black said [50:53] this I listen to Nissim show incredible [50:55] he's so great he's so he's really one of [50:57] the good and and he says and he says it [51:00] so beautifully just he has a a [51:02] sophisticated mature understanding of [51:04] Hashem's love for all of humanity that [51:06] we don't need uniformity. There's this [51:09] need to always make everybody like [51:10] Islam. If you don't know Islam, I'm [51:12] going to cut your head off. [51:13] >> Relax. No, I I want to explain the [51:17] question because some people have like a [51:18] little bit of an identity problem. [51:20] They're like, "Wait a minute. I do not [51:21] wanted in my church anymore, but I still [51:24] am Christian. What do you want from me? [51:25] But I'm not welcome there. But I'm not a [51:26] Jew anymore. I don't even want to be a [51:28] Jew. I want to be exactly who I am, but [51:30] I don't know where I fit. [51:31] >> What am I?" [51:31] >> Yeah. what am I? And I think that your [51:33] answer was beautiful. It's like you are [51:34] who you are. And that's really [51:35] beautiful. [51:36] >> I think I got my answer. That's actually [51:37] what Hashem said to Moses at the I am [51:39] who I am. [51:40] >> You remember like that's was like what [51:42] kind of answer is that? But maybe that's [51:44] maybe we have a new religion. Their name [51:46] is Ohavo. [51:48] >> Oh, nice. [51:48] >> Oh. [51:51] Lovers of his name. I just I'll just say [51:53] one thing on it because um [51:55] >> you're 100% right. Everybody especially [51:58] in the western world wants an identity [51:59] and they're like as soon as you lose uh [52:02] a focus with one identity and you have [52:04] to have a name for your new identity. So [52:06] for 23 years thousands of people have [52:08] asked us like what do you can you guys [52:10] please decide what what this new thing [52:12] is? Everybody wants to know what [52:13] denomination are you? What church are [52:14] you? What pastor are you? What whatever. [52:17] And for 23 years we've had Josh's answer [52:19] like no no no it's not about the [52:20] identity. Secondly there's 44,000 [52:23] Christian denominations in the world. We [52:25] don't need the 44,000 [52:27] and first one, right? Added to that. [52:30] >> Um, so the answer is not in that the [52:35] identity of what we're called and who we [52:37] are. It's in the the the simplicity of [52:39] what you're saying, those who love his [52:41] name, right? There's where's the Isaiah [52:43] prophecy that talks about those who are [52:45] join join themselves to Hashem, right? [52:48] uh a friend of ours has a has a ministry [52:50] called join to hashem actually like uh [52:52] but that like that's what it lies within [52:54] right and the only thing other thing [52:56] I'll say about the the identity that you [53:00] know whatever we are whatever you know [53:02] people who identify like we are are is [53:05] soon as Rabbi Mhammed or Rabbi [53:08] Aliao or something like that decides [53:10] what we are then I'll go with that but [53:11] otherwise we're not starting it like and [53:15] no one and no one else should Because if [53:18] you focus on that, then 6 months in, [53:20] you'll get dissatisfied with the five [53:22] other people that are part of your group [53:23] and decide, well, you know, we actually [53:26] start Shabbat at 5:30 and not five, so [53:28] now I'm going to leave that group and [53:29] start another one. [53:30] >> This is the most interesting [53:31] conversation. [53:31] >> New denomination, by the way. This is [53:33] the conversation [53:36] all the time. This is the We've talked [53:37] about politics. That's so boring. This [53:39] is so interesting. But I want you to [53:41] know what I really believe. I don't [53:42] think Ruff Muhammad is ever going to [53:44] tell you. He's never going to give you a [53:46] label. He's not a label, guys. Right. [53:48] Exactly. It's so beautiful because a [53:50] house of prayer for all nations. There's [53:52] no label. It's just about our [53:55] relationship with Hashem. All of us are [53:57] a brotherhood under a fatherhood of God. [54:00] And that's beautiful. Who needs the [54:01] label? The label. It's like everyone [54:03] wants a label so they can wear a patch [54:04] and have a uniform and have a thing that [54:06] they are and I go to this and I go to [54:08] It's like no, it's like we're entering [54:10] into a time that transcends all of that. [54:13] And that is so awesome. [54:14] >> You know what else is cool? We've we've [54:16] had like four over well if you count all [54:18] like we've had over a thousand people on [54:20] this mountain this year with our [54:21] programs here at the Israel guys [54:23] >> really between volunteers our tours [54:26] people that visit the visitor center now [54:29] >> Catholics Mormons Protestants Baptists [54:32] Methodists [54:33] >> atheists [54:33] >> atheists [54:35] atheists right Messianics Hebrew roots [54:38] whatever they want to call themselves [54:39] like [54:40] >> everyone comes here [54:41] >> wow [54:42] >> orthodox Christianity because they all [54:44] like You're saying they don't all [54:46] identify with this thing that we are, [54:49] this brand or this denomination that we [54:51] are. They identify in the fact that we [54:54] joined ourselves to the God of [54:55] >> Israel. Join ourselves to the God of [54:57] Abraham. [54:59] >> Um, and we love we love his name. [55:01] >> And you have a humility where you don't [55:03] feel like you need to craft them into, [55:07] you know, reflections and manifestations [55:09] of yourself. That's well and also in [55:11] Isaiah when he says it's going to be a [55:12] house of prayer for all nations, he [55:13] doesn't say it's going to be a house of [55:14] all prayer, a house of uh prayer for [55:17] all, you know, the specifics of the [55:21] denominations. It's going to be a house [55:22] of prayer for the Baptist or a house of [55:23] prayer for the Methodist or the whatever [55:25] denominational thing, you know, it's [55:27] literally all nations. And we have to [55:28] think like we have to learn something [55:30] from you. We got to think a little bit [55:32] bigger. We can't think of this and this [55:35] only when it comes in biblical [55:37] perspective. There are two people groups [55:39] in the world. There are Jews and there [55:41] are the nations. That's just it. There's [55:45] not a bunch of different people [55:48] about the prophets literally talk about [55:50] two people groups. They talk about the [55:51] Jewish people have a responsibility in [55:52] the world and the nations have a [55:54] responsibility in the world. And the [55:55] identity that I have is one from the [55:57] nations. The boy everybody likes to [56:00] point their fingers at you and be like, [56:01] "Oh, the Jews got to do this, this [56:02] this." Why don't we look back at [56:04] ourselves as the nations? Do we have [56:07] some work to do? And y'all got to be the [56:09] irony of you looking at us and saying, [56:10] "Yeah, we got to think bigger like you [56:12] guys." [56:13] >> You saying that to us is insane. [56:18] >> You've like changed the entire [56:20] trajectory of the nations of the world. [56:22] Like the Yeah. I mean, [56:24] >> it's really my hope that all [56:25] >> We made a nice [56:27] >> I'll tell you, I just had a conversation [56:28] with this Jewish leader and they're [56:30] like, "I see you watching this podcast [56:31] with those Christians. So, what are you [56:33] trying to do to them?" And I'm like, you [56:35] do to them? I'm just I want to photocopy [56:38] them. I want all they're the role models [56:41] of how I would love to see if we could [56:42] only switch all of our neighbors with [56:46] Josh's and Luke's. What a amazing world [56:49] this would be and there wouldn't be any [56:51] jihad. There would be brotherhood and [56:52] love and God and the Ten Commandments. [56:55] Like, wouldn't that be amazing? And so [56:57] they're like, "What do I do, dude? I [56:58] want to photocopy that." [56:59] >> The thing is, it's on display for the [57:01] world right now already. We just talked [57:02] about it. You could be running down the [57:04] streets of of uh of France right now [57:06] with an Israeli flag and you would be [57:07] stoned. You would be you would be mauled [57:10] and probably killed even by the crazy [57:13] riots going even with a keepa right now. [57:15] If you go to Amsterdam with a with a jug [57:17] of olive oil from here, you'll get [57:18] arrested. Can we play that video? [57:20] >> I don't even find out. [57:22] >> He's out there crazy video right now of [57:24] an IDF soldier that's on that's on [57:26] tourist and he walks up to the [57:27] checkpoint and they're like, "Are you an [57:30] IDF soldier? Are you a this? Are you [57:31] that?" And he's like, "Yes, yes, yes." [57:32] And he's like, "YOU BROUGHT OLIVE OIL [57:34] FROM, you know, Judea and Samaria." And [57:37] he's like, "He's the" And then this [57:38] truck of this, you know, the jihadist, [57:40] uh, you know, Muslim, you know, new [57:43] crusades comes up to the checkpoint [57:46] there and he's like, "Gentlemen, you [57:48] know, and then it's like boom, the whole [57:50] city blows." That's the crazy thing [57:52] that's going on. They're still attacking [57:54] you. But if anyone's awake and anyone's [57:57] not absolutely delusional about what's [58:00] happening in the world and they have [58:01] eyes to see, they can see that God's [58:02] with the Jewish people. That peace, [58:04] harmony, that the the uh you know uh [58:08] shalom like that the the peace that is [58:10] resting over Israel in an unbelievable [58:12] 400 million people that want to kill you [58:14] surrounding you, but yet Israel is like [58:16] this little bastion of godliness in this [58:19] place that's somehow being sustained. [58:22] and someone could just wake up and see [58:25] that the the crazy um violence, the [58:28] kamas that's covering the world today, [58:30] it's not it's not from the Jews. It's [58:32] from this radical anti-God [58:35] war that's going on in the streets being [58:37] mostly um you know in France right now. [58:39] It's being that that's the biggest [58:42] like a PhD to see like what is right in [58:45] front of you. But, you know, there's [58:47] just such a barrage of information with [58:49] such velocity being thrown at us that if [58:52] there's enough of a cacophony of world [58:54] media saying the settlers, the settlers, [58:56] the settlers, nobody's like, "Wait a [58:58] second. Who Who are these settlers [58:59] struggling against and liberating their [59:01] indigenous national homeland? The same [59:03] people that are burning down every [59:04] capital in Europe. What's going on here [59:06] that are marching in Detroit, you know, [59:09] with Hamas flags?" Nope. It's just like [59:11] a look this way, look that way, and it's [59:14] a it's a humanity is AD. [59:17] >> There's a really popular thing for for [59:19] uh international diplomats and leftwing [59:21] activists to do every time of year, this [59:23] this time of year. And it has to do with [59:25] the olive harvest cuz the like October, [59:27] November is when olives are harvested [59:29] here. And every year the media and the [59:32] activists and the journalists and the [59:33] diplomats show up for the olive harvest, [59:35] right? And there was a French mayor [59:37] that's supposedly got uh punched by an [59:41] Israeli whatever this week, [59:44] >> but and he came to just on a diplomatic [59:47] mission to join the olive harvest with [59:48] the peaceful Palestinians who were just [59:50] trying to make a livelihood. [59:52] The ironic thing is like France was [59:54] literally burning down the day he was [59:57] here. And like you got to ask yourself, [59:59] there's also a guy running for Congress [60:01] in New York that was, you know, also [60:02] here this week and whatever. You just [60:04] have to ask yourself like why are these [60:06] guys coming here? Like what what is the [60:09] point of traveling 6,000 miles or [60:11] whatever it is to to join the olive [60:14] harvest in another country and when [60:15] you're a diplomat from your own country, [60:17] especially if you're from France and [60:19] your country is burning to the ground. [60:20] >> Can I tell you something else about [60:21] that? I know you covered it this week, [60:22] but when I saw uh some of those videos [60:25] that were even in our clip, it went like [60:27] this over my mind. But you know, a lot [60:29] of those videos were AI. [60:30] >> Really? The guy punching the diplomat [60:32] was totally AI. The harvesting was an AI [60:36] imagery of them harvesting olives. And I [60:39] I saw it for the first time. [60:41] >> I'm not [60:41] >> I saw that, but I don't know if it was [60:43] >> No, the lady goes up to harvest the [60:45] olives and she pulls and like a whole it [60:49] was like there is obvious AI and the guy [60:52] punching the guy was obvious AI. But [60:54] here's the crazy thing. I did not see it [60:56] until I I someone said it and I and I [60:59] was like whoa that went by my eyes and I [61:02] did not see that that was AI the first [61:03] round [61:04] >> just cuz I'm just like I was just [61:05] looking at the next AI is absolutely so [61:07] advanced and incredible. Did you see [61:09] Trump trying to feed Zilinsky and then [61:10] he keeps pulling the sandwich out of [61:12] Zilinski's mouth and then Putin comes [61:13] and takes it. He's like come on give it [61:15] to you explain about this image you just [61:17] pulled up. [61:20] >> What's on your computer [61:23] you guys? Who is this anyways? [61:25] >> That's Jeremy bowing down to the I was [61:27] like, "What can I do to distract?" [61:28] >> That's not a very good AI image of [61:30] Jeremy. [61:31] >> You're literally doing that right now. [61:33] Literally right now. This is what Ari [61:35] does during the show. [61:36] >> Thank you, Aries AI image. I didn't even [61:38] realize that was [61:41] really funny. [61:41] >> Guys, we are running on time. [61:43] >> So, here's what I I want to just end [61:44] with avar. Yeah, good. That's what I [61:46] want to do because this actually really [61:48] touch at least I don't know the [61:49] politics. It touches to the heart of [61:50] what we were talking about before [61:51] because this is the Torah portion of we [61:53] meet Abraham for the first time. [61:55] >> This is Genesis 12. [61:56] >> It's just of course this. So this is the [61:59] this is the heart of it all. And what's [62:01] so beautiful about that is because we're [62:02] returning to an Abrahamic covenant. [62:04] We're returning to like the very [62:06] beginning because Abraham didn't have a [62:07] religion. [62:08] >> Mhm. [62:08] >> He didn't have the Torah. He didn't have [62:10] a denomination. He was Abraham and he is [62:12] the father of all of us. And then I just [62:15] had a learning session just the other [62:16] day with my rabbi from Badin Daniel. [62:19] >> Yeah. [62:20] >> And he taught me something so beautiful. [62:21] He brought up this prophecy in the book [62:23] of Jeremiah chapter 7. And this is what [62:25] it says. But this is the reason why the [62:27] Jews went into exile. But this I [62:30] commanded them saying, "Obey my voice [62:32] and I will be your God and you shall be [62:34] my people and walk in all the ways I [62:37] have commanded you that it may be well [62:38] with you." But they didn't do it. [62:40] >> And so the sages of Israel point out, I [62:42] don't understand. Obey my voice and walk [62:44] in my ways. It's like the same thing. [62:46] What's he talking about? So the sages [62:48] say, "No, it's not the same thing. [62:49] Listen to the words." You can follow all [62:52] of the laws of the Lord. And they did, [62:55] but they didn't listen to his voice. [62:58] That's so deep because Abraham, what did [62:59] he have? All he had was the ability to [63:01] listen to God's calling in his life. And [63:04] now we're all going back to that because [63:06] Jewish, Christian, this label, that [63:08] label. It's like, are you listening to [63:10] the voice of God in your life? Are you [63:12] being guided by Hashem? Are you living [63:13] in a living relationship with a living [63:15] God that's acting in the world right [63:18] now? Because the redemption is coming in [63:20] this land. It's alive. It's moving. Are [63:22] you alive with God? Are you not just [63:24] following the rituals and laws? Are you [63:27] actually living listening to his voice? [63:29] That's what Abraham came to teach us. [63:31] And he lived by that voice to the point [63:32] where he was able to do the impossible. [63:35] He was able to go up against kings. He [63:37] was able to do things that were like, I [63:38] got to sacrifice my own son. He was just [63:40] being true to the truth of his life. And [63:43] so that's my blessing to me and to you [63:45] and to you and to you and all of our [63:46] listeners is that we should be open up [63:48] to listening to the voice of Hashem in [63:49] our life. And just enjoy it as we enter [63:52] into the parhas of Abraham, Isaac, and [63:54] Jacob because that's really my favorite [63:56] part of the Torah. [63:56] >> That's amazing. [63:58] >> That's right. And like we always say, [64:00] guys, tune out the rest of the world. [64:02] Like don't listen to the rest of the the [64:04] the rest of the voices out there, but [64:06] listen to to God's voice. So I think [64:08] that's really good. [64:09] All right, guys. Well, by next week, God [64:12] willing, we will be back here, I think. [64:13] Right. [64:14] >> New studio. [64:14] >> Going to be back here. Justin, are we [64:17] going to be in the new studio? [64:18] >> Justin grabbed Ari behind the leg and [64:20] made a vow that we are going to be in [64:22] the new studio by next week. [64:24] >> I like how you said behind the leg that [64:27] >> we should have some election results. [64:28] Maybe we can talk about it. I don't [64:30] know. Uh, next week. We'll see. Guys, [64:32] make sure you are subscribed. Make sure [64:33] you leave us a comment. We want to hear [64:35] from you for sure. Make sure you're [64:36] following along. We'll be [64:44] back soon here at the Israel Guides.
