Womanhood in Stutthof: Lina Beresin’s Story

In our new series we are shining a spotlight on the unique voices of Jewish women and the indescribable challenges they faced. During the Holocaust, women proved resourceful in places that deprived them of all resources, and brought strength to places where they were made powerless. In our first episode, we delve into the story of Lina Beresin and how she used her skills and sheer determination to preserve her human spirit in an environment that sought to strip the Jews of their humanity. The stories shared in this series are taken from the ready2print version of the "Spots of Light" exhibition, curated by Yehudit Inbar and displayed at Yad Vashem.
