Description (by owner on YouTube)
In the first 24 hours, Eran Efrat raised ₪1.8 million. What happened next was even bigger.
Before October 7, the Israeli entrepreneur had around 35K followers who knew him largely through his personal stories and business content.
After the Hamas attack, he put that audience to work. Eran began raising money for urgently needed tactical equipment while using social media to learn what soldiers actually needed on the ground and whether the equipment was reaching them.
Step by step, the effort grew into a wider operation with other fundraisers that raised more than $50 million. Eventually, they began working directly with Israel’s Ministry of Defense to help bring equipment into the country quickly.
From a social media account to a multi-million-dollar relief effort — because when Israel needed help, Eran asked what he could do. 🇮🇱
