Transcript [00:01] Hello and welcome to another episode of [00:02] the Keffiyeh Weekly. And this week, I [00:04] want to talk about a report that came [00:05] out from the Simon Wiesenthal Center, [00:07] [music] which documented the Islamic [00:10] Republic of Iran [00:12] and its 30-year plan strategy [music] [00:15] that it's been implementing to spread [00:18] anti-Semitism [00:19] and anti-Western [music] sentiment in [00:21] the West. And I think this is [00:23] incredibly fascinating. [00:32] Now, this [music] isn't the first time [00:34] this has been documented or discussed, [00:37] but as I look at the United States right [00:39] now, we look [music] at the West, we [00:40] look anti-Semitism is spiraling out of [00:43] control. [00:44] You know, we've talked about it many, [00:45] many times. There are, you know, [00:47] anti-Jewish [music] crimes happening [00:49] almost every single day. We've seen the [00:52] three-figure percentage increases in [00:54] places like New York and Alaska and all [00:57] these statistics [music] that we're [00:59] aware of. [01:00] But what is so troubling to me, and at [01:03] the same time just [01:05] a completely insidious and a poor [01:07] reflection, however, on so many of us, [01:11] is that we [music] keep talking about [01:13] Israel's influence. We keep talking [01:15] about the Jewish influence on America [01:18] and all these other sort of [music] [01:19] tropes that have become so common. Every [01:22] single creator out there is jumping on [01:24] this anti-Israel anti-Semitic bandwagon, [01:27] [music] taking parts of the Talmud [01:29] without context, taking snippets of a [01:32] speech without context, making up fake [01:34] quotes and throwing them out there to [01:36] demonize Israel and the Jewish [01:37] community. [01:39] Yet, the Islamic Republic has been [01:41] working diligently to manipulate, [01:45] to influence, and [01:48] to subvert American [music] public [01:50] opinion [01:51] against Israel, against Jews, and [01:54] against faith in [music] America itself. [01:57] And we're falling for it. Like there can [01:59] be no debate about that. Look, I'm a [02:01] firm believer that social media is not [02:04] the real world. I'm a firm believer that [02:06] the majority [music] of Americans don't [02:08] fall for Iranian regime propaganda. They [02:11] don't fall for whatever they see on Tik [02:13] Tok or Instagram. But there is a [02:15] problem. We can't dismiss this as being [02:18] not an issue. You know, the younger [02:20] generations [music] are influenced by [02:22] what they see on social media and they [02:23] are being influenced by foreign regime. [02:26] It's as simple as that. Like this is [02:28] documented. For 30 years Iran [music] [02:31] diligently has worked to push this [02:33] narrative and now they are seeing the [02:34] fruits of their labors. [02:36] And there's a couple of things we've got [02:37] to ask there. [02:39] How easily are we manipulated? [music] [02:42] While the greatest blessings of America [02:43] is its freedom, but those freedoms can [02:46] be manipulated [music] by those who have [02:48] hostile intentions and we've seen that. [02:50] And we've got to remember that the [02:51] regime in Iran's [music] [02:52] terror goes far beyond the United [02:55] States, far beyond Israel, far beyond in [02:58] targeting its own [music] people. [03:00] Have we forgotten so quickly the [03:03] absolute [music] butchery the regime [03:05] engaged in during the Syrian Civil War [03:07] to keep Assad in power? [03:09] Have we forgotten that the Houthis [03:11] [music] are right now still attacking [03:13] the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, killing [03:15] people [music] over the weekend when [03:16] they fired missiles at the airport in [03:18] Riyadh? [03:19] So this is beyond online. This is very [03:21] real and what we're seeing is [music] [03:23] the regime in Iran has implemented a [03:25] plan and it's working. It's a scary [03:28] future for the United States. It's a [03:29] scary future for the people of the [03:31] United States. How quickly our public [03:33] [music] opinion can be shifted and how [03:35] quickly that public opinion can turn us [03:38] against [music] our own citizens. [03:40] Can turn people to launch attacks on [03:43] Jewish communities, on synagogues, on [03:44] Jewish schools. [03:47] It's something we need [music] to all [03:48] pause and acknowledge. We've been played [03:51] as the kids say. We've been manipulated. [03:55] And this is why it's so important that [03:56] we are active [03:58] in what our children are ingesting. [04:01] >> [music] [04:01] >> It's why It's why it's so important that [04:02] we are active in what we are taking in. [04:06] Fact-check. Don't just accept things at [04:08] face value. [music] Do not allow emotion [04:11] to dictate what is fact to you. [04:14] And always question these random [music] [04:17] memes and graphics you see on the [04:18] internet and ask, [04:20] "What is the point of this? [04:22] Why is somebody putting this out there? [04:24] Why is this faceless [music] account [04:26] putting out this information with no [04:28] sources, with no context? What are they [04:30] trying to [music] achieve?" [04:33] Because the regime in Iran, like so many [04:34] of our adversaries, realize [04:37] that the United States is strong, it is [04:39] powerful, and the only way to truly [04:42] break this country [music] [04:44] is to fracture it from inside, and they [04:46] are [04:47] actively doing that. [04:50] It is our [music] responsibility to [04:51] protect every community in this country.
