ISRAEL ELECTION UPDATE: AMAZING NEWS!!! Yes, amazing news. Many people look at Israel’s political stalemate, where anti-Israel Arab parties won 19 seats and the left is actively trying to form a government with them, and ask, “What ‘amazing news’ is Avi talking about?” For years I have warned about the existential jihadi threat, powered today by the red-green alliance that is actively working to destroy free Democratic societies from within (France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Canada, the USA etc.). Most Western-educated people still cannot see it. Decades of Marxist infiltration of the best Western universities planned by the Soviet Union and openly described by KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov in the 1980s on US television, trained the wonderful, smart, good hearted Westerners, including many Jews in Israel, to ignore genocidal ideologies and call it progress. So they ignore the evil and those of us who challenge their “enlightened” and “educated” worldview. At the same time, this is a spiritual war. The point is to wake up and stand against evil. Now the political stalemate is doing exactly that. It is forcing Israeli society, including many voters on the political left, to confront a simple truth: a center-left government that includes blatantly anti-Israel Arab parties is insane and suicidal. Those Arab parties reject the Jewish state, call Hamas a charity organization, celebrate the Oct. 7 massacre of our fellow Jews, and will block the measures Israel requires to protect it, just as the Ra’am party did in the Bennett-Lapid government. God could not have orchestrated the outright hypocrisy, self-hatred, and danger of the political left any better. The preferred option of Eizenkot, Yair Golan, Bennet and Lapid is literally a government with the anti-Israel Arab parties that supported the Hamas massacre and still refuse to call Hamas a terrorist organization. Their next option is a government with the ultra-Orthodox parties, which means abandoning their central campaign promise to draft the ultra-Orthodox into the army. The public is calling out the hypocrisy, because that was the left’s single biggest election issue. All of this, rather than form the most reasonable government the people actually want: a unity government with Netanyahu and the Likud, to jointly deal with the growing jihadi threats around us. Our purpose returning to our homeland is to spread good and remove evil. This deadlock has put the evil on full display for every Israeli to see. Even the justice system is showing its colors: facing clear evidence of massive election corruption behind the unprecedented Arab voter turnout, it is working to bury the case, just as it buried the IDF Attorney General’s admission that she leaked a blood-libel video against our holy IDF soldiers that harmed Israel internationally and will be a stain upon the Jewish people forever. More and more Israelis are waking up to the same reality the West still refuses to name. Do not be discouraged by the stalemate or by the left’s willingness to partner with parties that would stop us from defending ourselves. God is putting on a show to help us wake up. Enjoy it. Strengthen your faith. This is all part of the process of reclaiming our true national identity after 2,000 years of exile. We are back as a sovereign nation in our ancestral homeland, not by accident, but to fulfill our destiny. Every road bump, every exposure of hypocrisy, every moment that forces Israelis to choose clarity over comfort is moving us closer to that destiny. The Jewish people have survived far worse. We are rising, stronger and more awake than we have been in generations. I can’t tell you who will be prime minister, what government will emerge, or whether we’ll head to new elections. But I can tell you to see these events for what they are: an amazing, God-orchestrated wake-up show, the most important one on earth right now, pushing the Jewish people to step fully into our role of modeling how a nation truly connected to God and its ancestral homeland overcomes the dangers of our time and helps save humanity. Yes, amazing. The only thing better would be if we as a nation didn’t need this wake-up process, but we do. Good times are coming. The best is still ahead. Am Yisrael Chai!!! POST ELECTION SURPRISE: WAR HITS ISRAEL AT SEA And nobody is talking it! A container ship operating in the service of Israeli shipping company ZIM, sailing from Haifa toward Romania, was reportedly struck by three maritime drones in the Black Sea off Bulgaria. The ship was severely damaged and sank overnight. Thank God, all 18 crew members were rescued safely. No publication of who ordered the attack. Think about that. A ship serving an Israeli shipping line, carrying hundreds of containers after leaving Israeli ports, is attacked by maritime drones and sinks in European waters, and the story barely breaks through our political noise, and no impact even on overcoming political disagreements to deal with a sign of unfolding danger ahead. But this is what matters now. The election is behind us. The threats are not. The world is becoming more dangerous. Israel faces jihadi enemies outside our borders and within our society. The red-green alliance of radical progressives and jihadi forces is destroying Western countries from within as we speak - France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Britain…. And war with the jihadi Shiite regime of Iran is only a matter of time. This is no time for Israelis to destroy one another over politics, and definitely not to consider establishing a government based on anti-Israel Arab political parties! Most Israeli Jews want something much simpler: unity around protecting this miraculous Jewish country and allowing our families to live here safely and proudly. We can argue about judicial reform, the Ultra-Orthodox draft, economics, religion and state and everything else. But first, we must survive. Our leaders must recognize the jihadi ideology threatening us, give Israel the freedom to destroy developing threats before they become another October 7, stop trusting international guarantees to protect Jewish lives, and stop giving a pass to jihadi Israel Arab Muslim citizens who are a fifth column. And yet, I am tremendously optimistic. Why? Because look at us. After 2,000+ years of exile, persecution and attempts to destroy us, we are home. We have rebuilt our ancient homeland. We are raising Jewish families, building communities, defending ourselves and living as one of the happiest peoples on earth. That is the miracle our enemies cannot understand. And my confidence ultimately does not come from politicians, elections or generals. It comes from God. God watches over the Jewish people. Our return home is not an accident, and our story is nowhere near finished. But faith demands responsibility. We must recognize threats early, unite where possible, fight when necessary and make the difficult decisions today that can minimize the tragedies along the road toward the incredible future ahead. The Jewish people are home. God is with us. And our greatest days are still ahead. God is doing his part. We have to do ours to hasten the good times and minimize the tragedies we must experience until they come. Strengthen your faith and help me share these truths that apply to all freedom-loving people all over the world, not just to Jews in Israel. Am Yisrael Chai!!! ISRAEL ELECTION UPDATE #3: PLOT TWIST You really cannot make this up. The huge Arab jihadi voter turnout might be directly linked to illegal foreign influence. For the past few years, Israelis were bombarded with “Qatargate” allegations of Qatari connections surrounding Netanyahu, portrayed as an enormous scandal that could finally help bring him down. Yet at the very same time, Gadi Eizenkot, the political Left and the mainstream media were relentlessly pressuring Netanyahu to accept the Qatar-mediated hostage deal they demanded, even when it meant ending the war before Hamas was destroyed and risking leaving Hamas in power in Gaza. Think about the irony. The political left accused Netanyahu’s people of “working for Qatar,” while politically they were doing Qatar’s work for it: pressuring Israel to accept an outcome that would have served Qatar’s interests at the expense of Israel’s, ending the war with its Hamas ally still ruling Gaza. Netanyahu resisted that pressure because Israel had a war to win. And now, after years of “Qatargate,” we may be facing an entirely different question about alleged Qatari attempts to influence Israel elections. An election Qatargate… And this one could potentially undermine the very election results the political Left was hoping would remove Netanyahu. Here is what we actually know. Shin Bet chief David Zini presented information to Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg, chairman of the Central Elections Committee, that was reportedly considered extraordinarily serious. Sohlberg then formally instructed Zini to investigate suspicions of improper foreign financing and possible election bribery by foreign actors operating against Israel's interests. He demanded findings within a week because of the election timetable. And this morning Israeli journalist Amit Segal reported that the country at the center of the suspicion is Qatar. According to the report, investigators are examining suspicions that large sums originating in Qatar were transferred to influence voting in Israel's Arab community, with some allegedly traveling through channels previously used to transfer terrorist funds. Separately, Channel 14 reported suspicions that millions of shekels originating in enemy states may have been used to buy votes, following the arrest of three suspects in the Negev and the seizure of cash envelopes and Ra'am ballots. Now think about the irony. After years of the political Left screaming Qatargate to damage Netanyahu, Israel could conceivably end up confronting an actual election scandal involving suspected Qatari money intended to influence the vote and benefit the political bloc trying to remove Netanyahu. And if the investigation ultimately establishes that illegal foreign money materially corrupted enough votes to affect mandates, the consequences could become enormous. Imagine the ultimate political irony: an election rerun caused by Election Qatargate after years of Qatargate being used to try to defeat Netanyahu. And imagine what might happen in such a rerun after Israelis discovered that foreign actors hostile to Israel allegedly poured money into influencing their democratic elections. The political Left might discover that its supposed victory with the help of the jihadi Muslim population was the worst thing that could have happened to it. But we are not there yet. The investigation must determine what actually happened, and most importantly, whether any wrongdoing was extensive enough to affect the election result. But after everything Israel has lived through these past few years, I have learned never to underestimate one thing: God has a sense of humor 🙂 This election has also forced Israel to confront a question it has avoided for far too long: what should a Jewish democracy do with citizens and political leaders who actively support jihad and the destruction of Israel? I have been raising this issue for years. Now, this election has finally forced it onto the national agenda, where Israeli society can no longer afford to ignore it. Citizenship carries rights, including the extraordinary right to help determine who governs Israel, but it also carries obligations. Israeli Arabs who are loyal citizens must enjoy those rights fully. But all those who support jihad and the destruction of Israel must have their citizenship stripped and deported. Israel cannot be afraid to exercise those powers, with full due process. At the same time, the next government must advance judicial reforms that ensure the Supreme Court enforces Israel’s election laws, so that parties or candidates legally determined to support armed struggle or the destruction of the State of Israel cannot participate in elections. This is not about being Arab. It is about loyalty versus active support for Israel’s enemies. And perhaps the allegations surrounding this election, after they are ultimately proven, will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Instead of merely arguing over another mandate or another coalition, Israel is finally being forced to confront the jihadi population that exploits our democracy. Sometimes Hashem turns what initially looks like a crisis into the wake-up call a nation desperately needed. Strengthen your faith in God and help me share these truths. Am Yisrael Chai!!! ISRAEL ELECTIONS UPDATE: THE MORNING AFTER We still do not know the final outcome of these elections. But one lesson is already crystal clear: the political Left in Israel can no longer win an election. Its only realistic path to forming a government is by relying on the anti-Israel Arab parties, something a vast majority of the Jewish population in Israel view as fundamentally wrong, reprehensible and literally suicidal. And that should terrify the Israeli Left, because these were the best political conditions it could possibly have dreamed of to win an election. For years, the political left, together with the justice system and mainstream media painted Netanyahu as literally corrupt. Years of investigations, prosecutions and potentially millions in taxpayer money spent pursuing cases that helped convince Israelis that he was personally corrupt, self-serving and unfit to govern. Yet now, inside the courtroom, all the cases against him are falling apart, including testimony from the former Attorney General who indicted Netanyahu, admitting to allegedly illegal and unauthorized actions taken by law enforcement and the attorney general’s office in pursuing Netanyahu. Then came a brilliantly evil, but effective, and deeply destructive, election campaign. Israelis were bombarded with claims and conspiracy theories blaming Netanyahu personally for October 7, including allegations that he had been warned beforehand and simply did nothing. All lies that even Egypt and the UAE publicly denied! At the same time, the election was successfully transformed into a virtual one-issue referendum on the ultra-Orthodox draft. That was politically brilliant. Take a real and painful societal issue, use it to generate maximum anger against the government and convince frustrated right-wing Israelis not to vote for Netanyahu, Likud or the other right-wing parties. But now comes the absurdity. The election is barely over and politicians on the Left and voices in the mainstream media are already demanding dumping their supposedly sacred demand for an ultra-Orthodox draft in order to entice the ultra-Orthodox parties into a government with the Left! You cannot make this stuff up. I have been saying throughout this campaign: they are cynically hijacking a real issue, inflaming hatred and division within the Jewish people and weaponizing it to win an election. And now they are proving the point themselves. If drafting the ultra-Orthodox was truly the defining moral issue they told Israelis it was, how does that principle suddenly become negotiable the moment ultra-Orthodox politicians could provide the seats necessary to form a government with them? The truth is that much of the political Left never wanted masses of ultra-Orthodox Jews serving in the IDF in the first place. But the issue became an extraordinarily useful political weapon against Netanyahu and the Right to split the right and win an election. And after all of that, the legal campaign, the October 7 accusations, the draft campaign, enormous amounts of money and organizational effort, flying expat voters into Israel, maximizing the Arab vote and relentless anti-Netanyahu coverage across much of the mainstream media, the Israeli Left still could not win the Jewish Israeli electorate. Yet instead of confronting that reality, its leaders are demonstrating an astonishing blindness to what the Israeli people are telling them. Gadi Eizenkot gave what amounted to a victory speech last night. Yair Golan is already calling for the Left to form a government together with the anti-Israel Arab parties. That response exposes the entire problem. Rather than asking why so many Jewish Israelis continue rejecting their political vision, they are searching for a mathematical path around the Jewish electorate. That is an extraordinary disconnect from the country they hope to govern. If the Left could not win under political conditions this favorable, when exactly does it expect to win? Likud will not govern Israel forever. No party does. But the political center of gravity among Jewish Israelis remains nationalist, Zionist and deeply attached to Israel as a strong Jewish state. Even many Israelis who call themselves centrists fundamentally want that. That is why blind hatred of Netanyahu is not a political vision. Neither is dividing Israelis, weaponizing genuine societal problems or depending upon anti-Israel Arab politicians to assemble a parliamentary majority. The Israeli Left desperately needs a genuine reckoning, not about how to hate Netanyahu more effectively, but about why so many Jewish Israelis continue rejecting what it is selling. Because Netanyahu will eventually leave politics. But Israel will continue to grow as a strong Jewish state, with a Jewish population strengthening its Jewish identity, its connection with our God-given, indigenous, ancestral homeland, and continue in fulfilling our purpose as a nation in these Geulah/redemption times. And any political movement that wants to govern it must first understand the Jewish people who live here. Strengthen your faith! We might not end up with the ideal government, but it will still be far better than what the political Left invested so much money and effort trying to achieve. There will always be road bumps along the way. But don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. Great times are ahead. Have faith. Be grateful. And keep moving forward! Am Yisrael Chai!!! Argentina’s President Javier Milei, one of the world’s most passionate supporters of Israel, the Jewish people and the Torah, just said something extraordinary about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that every Israeli should hear. Speaking in New York after his appearance at the United Nations, Milei called Netanyahu an “extraordinary leader” with geopolitical vision. But then he went much further. Milei said Netanyahu understands the connection to the “cultural battle” taking place in the world today “as very few people in the world” do, specifically naming US politicians Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent among the others who understand it. He then said he doubts whether Israel would still exist without Netanyahu and warned that Israel’s disappearance would endanger Europe and the entire Western world. That is much bigger than a compliment to Netanyahu. Milei is saying Netanyahu understands what the war actually is. To understand Milei’s statement, you have to understand what he means by the “cultural battle.” Milei has been warning for years that Western civilization is fighting an ideological war over its most fundamental values. He argues that radical left-wing and post-Marxist ideas gained power not primarily through armies, but through institutions: universities, media, government bureaucracies, NGOs, international organizations and culture. He has explicitly invoked Antonio Gramsci’s theory of cultural hegemony, the idea that political transformation follows cultural domination and argued that the left successfully captured institutions that determine how societies understand truth, justice, morality and even good and evil. But here is what makes Milei’s worldview particularly important for Israel: He understands that Israel and the Jewish people sit at the epicenter of this cultural war. At an International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance gathering this year, Milei connected sinah, hatred, to Sinai, where the Jewish people received the Torah. Then he made an extraordinary statement: “Combating antisemitism is not only defending a people; it is defending the morality that is at the foundation of our civilization.” He also declared: “Israel is the bastion of the West.” Think about that. Milei is connecting Sinai, Biblical morality, Jew-hating antisemitism, Israel and the survival of Western civilization. And I believe he is touching upon something even deeper. This Is ultimately a war against Biblical morality… Western civilization did not invent its moral foundations out of thin air. Humanity created b’tzelem Elokim, in the image of God. A morality higher than the ruler. The sanctity of life. Family. Responsibility. Justice. Freedom from tyranny. The idea that even a king answers to something above himself. These are Biblical ideas that entered history through the Jewish people and profoundly shaped Western civilization. Milei himself increasingly speaks in these terms. At Davos he used the Torah’s account of Pharaoh and Moses to describe the struggle between tyranny and freedom. His spiritual adviser, Rabbi Shimon Axel Wahnish, has said that Milei sees Judaism and Moses as representing a “cultural and spiritual revolution toward freedom.” That helps explain Milei’s extraordinary attraction to Torah and the Jewish people. Because from a Jewish perspective, this cultural battle is ultimately deeper than left versus right. It is a battle over whether man answers only to man or whether there is a moral order established by God above us all. A culture that removes God will eventually redefine morality according to whatever ideology controls the institutions, as we the “progressive” left doing today. Truth becomes narrative. Responsibility becomes victimhood. Family becomes whatever society decides it means today. National identity becomes something to dismantle. And ancient Biblical morality becomes an obstacle to “progress.” That is why I believe this cultural revolution is ultimately a rebellion against God. And that helps explain why Israel is at its epicenter. Why Israel? Why does a tiny Jewish state provoke such obsessive rage across university campuses, international organizations and Western streets? Why do movements supposedly concerned with completely different issues repeatedly converge around hostility toward Israel? Milei himself speaks about what he calls an “implicit alliance between the radical left and Islamist terrorism.” Others, like myself, call it the red-green alliance*: revolutionary leftism and jihadi Islam. Their visions of the society they ultimately want are profoundly different. Yet Milei argues that they share hostility toward Western civilization. And Israel represents almost everything this cultural revolution rejects. We are an ancient people rooted in history. An indigenous nation rooted in a particular homeland. A civilization rooted in God. A people who returned after 2,000 years to our ancestral land, revived our ancestral language and rebuilt Jewish sovereignty. Israel is living proof that rooted identity and modernity do not have to contradict each other. We didn't erase ourselves to join the modern world. We came home. This is where I believe even many Israelis fail to understand the magnitude of our own story. The Jewish people are not simply another nationality that happened to establish a country in 1948. We stood at Sinai. We carried the Torah through thousands of years of exile. We introduced humanity to the belief in one God and a transcendent moral order. And now we have returned to the very land in which the Torah envisioned the Jewish nation living its national life. That gives Israel a role far beyond simply keeping Jews alive. We have the opportunity to bring our Biblical national identity back into history: living in our land, speaking Hebrew, defending ourselves and building a society rooted in Jewish values. That doesn't mean forcing anyone to become religious. It means remembering who we are. Strengthening Jewish identity. Strengthening our connection to God and Torah. Strengthening our indigenous connection to the Land of Israel. Because Judaism was never intended merely as a religion practiced privately inside a synagogue or in the home m. We are a nation. With a Torah. With a land. With a mission. And that is why I believe a stronger Jewish Israel can become one of humanity’s most powerful answers to this cultural revolution. The answer to nihilism is meaning. The answer to rootlessness is rooted identity. The answer to moral relativism is moral clarity. The answer to the rejection of Biblical civilization is a Jewish people proudly living its Biblical identity in its Biblical homeland. That is what it means to become a light unto the nations. Milei gets it! Perhaps this explains Milei’s extraordinary love for Judaism. This is a president who studies Torah, speaks openly about the Creator, repeatedly visits the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s resting place and has spoken about his attraction to Judaism. He understands that defending Jews is not merely about protecting Jews. It is about defending the moral foundations he believes made Western freedom possible. And he understands Iran through the same lens. Milei has said plainly that Iran is not merely Israel’s enemy but an enemy of the West. He has praised Netanyahu and Trump as leaders willing to confront what he describes as the Iranian regime's terrorism while others hesitate. So the pieces fit together. Iran is one front. Jihadi terrorism is another. The ideological battle inside Western civilization is another. And Israel stands at the intersection. That is why Milei’s compliment to Netanyahu matters so much. Milei believes Netanyahu sees the entire battlefield. Not only Tehran. Not only Gaza. Not only Hezbollah. The battlefield of ideas. Israelis need to understand what is at stake! This is the conversation Israelis need to have when evaluating Netanyahu vs. Eizenkot and the other party leaders on the center left seeking to replace him. Because Netanyahu’s center-left opponents not only fail to understand this larger cultural battle; but, they actively represent the very political and institutional forces advancing its progressive agenda within Israel. That is why their replacing Netanyahu would endanger Israel and promote the exact culture war against us that Millie has ben talking about. As opposed to the party leaders on the political left, Only Netanyahu understands that Israel is not merely as another Western democracy that happens to speak Hebrew. Only Netanyahu understands that Israel is the sovereign expression of an ancient people restored to its indigenous homeland. Only Netanyahu understands the ideological dimension of Iran’s hostility toward Israel. Only Netanyahu understands the progressive cultural forces operating through universities, international institutions, NGOs and media. Only Netanyahu understands why all the radical leftist and jihadi movements converge around delegitimizing the Jewish state. And only Netanyahu understands that strengthening Israel's Jewish identity is an asset not something Israel must minimize to gain international acceptance. None of Netanyahu’s center-left opponents seeking to lead Israel understand this larger civilizational struggle. Worse, rather than fighting the progressive cultural forces Milei is warning about, they would actively advance many of those same forces within Israel. Milei's statement raises a question far bigger than one Israeli election. Israel needs leaders, like Milei and Netanyahu, who understand what Israel is and what we are up against. The missiles are real. Iran is real. Jihadi terrorism is real. But ideas are weapons too. The Jewish people have survived empires, exile and persecution and returned to Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria to rebuild our national life. Now our challenge is not to run away from who we are. It is to become more deeply who we are. A Jewish nation. In the Land of Israel. Connected to our Torah, our God, our history and our mission. And perhaps Javier Milei understands something that too many Jews themselves have forgotten: The Jewish people are not peripheral to the battle for the freedom loving world. We are the nation entrusted with the keys to helping save it. We must embrace that mission. That is what it truly means to fulfill our destiny as a light unto the nations. That is tikun olam b’malchut Shakai!!!
